Very nice and helpful stuff. Beautiful, cozy village. This wasn't a fancy, modern hotel, rather a big house, but great for few days chillout.

The hotel was in an old Posada , high ceilings and light and airy.. The village is unspoilt with many interesting buildings. They are dog friendly.
There was no air conditioning. The hotel was in a small village with no parking , so the suitcases had to be carried up. However, the staff are keen to help carry them for you.

For a mountain hotel this is perfect. Hotel owner amazing and willing to adapt and go extra mile whenever needed. We are heading back soon. Location great, lots to explore. Dogs welcome ;)
Parking was not available on site - but east to find and only a 70m walk.

Great location for walking. Very close to excellent way-marked footpaths. The village is interesting and the posada has good views. The owner has decent English and kept in touch.
Very little storage space in the room but that is to be expected at this price point. Despite advertising breakfast, there was non available on site. I had emailed before booking to ask if there would be places to eat open in March and was reassured that there would be. This turned out not to be the case. There is nowhere in the village open for dinner. There are two bars that serve food during the day but this no use to anyone who is out walking all day. We had to drive to another village to find a restaurant open and that was only open Friday and Saturday nights. Walkers should take note of this as it is a real problem and the posada owner should have warned us.

The hotel is perfectly situated in a delightful village with a stunning medieval bridge. The host was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for walks in the area. Restaurants and a well-stocked village shop are within easy reach.
Nothing!

hotel with character. reasonable charged for breakfast. overall a nice two night stay.
it isn’t really possible to access the property from the roadside. car parking is a short walk away and it is uphill with many steps. you will need to carry your luggage this distance. three piles of dog poo outside entrance.
booking.com says it has twin beds and a double. not really correct. there is a large double beds but the twin beds are really a single bed with another single underneath, not bunk beds more of a rollaway bed.

Rooms where clean and the town was gorgeous and very relaxing. Silent hotel and place.
State of the rooms. The hotel facilities, staff numbers, ease of communication and breakfast options way lower than the price charger. It´s a rural house overpriced for what they offer.

The interior design is clean and modern, with polished wood floors, interesting murals and wall hangings. The large restaurant upstairs also combines a pleasant modern feel with the traditional architecture of the large old house.
The bed was comfortable. The shower had a good temperature and pressure (though it took a while for the hot water to come through).
There is an area with sofas and armchairs at one end of the restaurant where we could sit comfortably and read / check emails.
We went in times of COVID-19, September (in the midst of the growing media concerns about a second wave). Understandably, therefore, the hotel had only a few staff, with the manager working upstairs in the restaurant as well as the reception downstairs. In spite of this the service was attentive and personal (he was contactable on a mobile number, though we didn’t have to use it).
The manager was also a helpful source of local knowledge. He suggested a sequence of trails to the waterfall and hermitage which worked very well. Taken together with the helpful advice of the staff in the ‘centro de interpretación’ (the village‘s generously dimensioned tourist information office and mini-museum), that turned out to be an excellent and enjoyable 15km hike. The manager also warned us about roadworks on one of the two routes south (which our GPS apps did not know about, but which were real and impassible!). He also called promptly to let us know we had left an item, which allowed us quickly to turn round and retrieve: very helpful.
The hotel has a super fast WiFi on a fibre connection. Very useful because we could not get a data signal on Vodafone nor Orange anywhere in the village or its surroundings (though Movistar offered 3G and occasionally 4G).

Juanjo was such a kind host. We really enjoyed getting to know him and staying at Posada. He has decorated Posada with beautiful simplicity. The hotel is very clean and the facilities are nice and spacious. We ate three meals at Jazz Restaurant, which is on the top level of the hotel, and really enjoyed the local fare and wine. The highlights of our meals were the beans and chorizo, the wild local mushrooms and eggs, the local fish, the pork cheeks, the cream puffs and the papas frites. We felt that we had a very authentic experience staying here and that is exactly what we were looking for.
The only thing we didn’t love was that the bed was a bit stiff.
