I arrived at about 10.00 am and was given an early check in. It enabled to to have a shower and prepare properly for some people that I would soon be meeting for the first time. The room was comfortable and everything worked properly.
The staff were excellent and could not be faulted. They made it possible to sort out my washing and correctly managed some things that needed cold water and air drying. They helped me make an airline booking to Kathmandu and arranged taxis for when they were needed.
Breakfasts were good and in a social setting which I enjoyed.
It took me a little while before I knew where the hotel was on the street and getting to the main tourist areas. Apart from that there were no complaints. Two nights in Pokhara were not enough.

The location was perfect for a lakeside hotel. Not very far and not too close to the crowd. Rooms were small but comfortable.
Should have a better dining facility. Although the breakfast buffet was satisfying, there was no other food offering in the hotel which was a bit uncomfortable.

I only stayed for 2 nights, but it was amazing! From the minute I entered the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Especially receptionist Shruti who was really great and so helpful! The night shift personnel was also very nice and informed me a lot about the different activities in the city I could do the next day. Breakfast was incredible and so tasty! Fresh veggies & fruits, fried eggs, freshly brewed coffee and of course the famous waffles were 10/10 (just like everyone said). My room was very spacious and cozy. A/C was working really well and I could adjust the temperature to my preferences. I also had enough hot water for a long relaxed shower, which was reallyyy nice <333 Bonus point for being so eco and environment friendly. Overall amazing experience! I totally recommend Hotel Karuna if you're in Pokhara!!! I will definitely be back!
The laundry company they're using could do a better job (specifically when it comes to white/light-coloured clothes).

the location was excellent, the staff excellent, but that was the only good thing about our stay.
I had paid for the most expensive rooms in the hotel with a lake view etc, and was delegated to a room at the front end of the property on the first floor and was told all the top rooms were occupied and full up! If that was the case, please DON’T take my money and charge me extra for a deluxe double room with balcony and a lake view etc! 🤦🏻♀️🤯🤯🤯
This is the third time this has happened, and I finally had to speak up and protest! As when I called the booking central help line that I NEVER seem to get the room I pay for, they told me, that would be the hotel!

Huge, clean and nicely furnished room in a calm street, only a short walk away from Lakeside.
Views from our room were wonderful.
The breakfast is very delicious and served as early as 6.30 am.

Yes, the Cleaning and hotel facilities were good.
I wasn't able to use WIFI there so kindly request to fix the WIFI issue so others can use it.

I’ve stayed at Karuna twice now and have loved it with my family and when I stayed solo. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I also loved the eco friendly attitude with safe water and homemade soap available.

Noisy from the side rooms. Shouting in the middle of the night and early morning.

Exceeded expectations. Clean, comfortable. The staff were so helpful, especially when there was a landslide meaning we couldn't drive back to Kathmandu so they found us seats on the next flight. The included breakfast is tasty with amazing coffee.

It is my second time here and I really recommend this hotel. Big and clean room, with hot shower and home made soap. Comfortable bed, good wifi and good breakfast. The staff was nice and friendly.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and nice and cozy interior. The view on the lake and the mountains from the rooftop is also very nice. I also appreciated the eco-conscious attitude of the Hotel. Would love to come back!

Great location, a very short walk away from the main strip so it was nice and quiet. Comfortable bed, large rooms and good shower. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is good but often not enough prepared for the amount of people so you often have to wait. Laundry service is good. Good price for a very comfortable room, would recommend.

Super service, always available. Only 3mins walk away of the main street. The sustainability concept (water refill stations in every floor, self made soap/bath mat, coffeebar with reusable coffee filter and local coffee …) impressed me! Delicious breakfast and welcome drink. Enjoyed our stay and already miss it!

Good location, really nice ‘slow’ coffee, loved the eco friendly amenities and water stations on every floor. Room was spacious and clean.
- Had to ask several times to clean our room which got a bit annoying since they forgot to do it first day as well.
- Breakfast starts at 6.30 am but when we arrived at 6.45 am the warm items were not ready yet. Still at 7 am not all items were there.
Other day there was a big group staying and when we arrived for breakfast none of the food items were replenished and it took some time before we could eat.
