Great coffee and breakfasts, and wonderful, warm service. You'll get fit climbing the hill up to this hostel, and the views are worth it.

I love the location overlooking Kangding; however, the 10 min walk uphill may not be for everyone.

Helpful and forthcoming staff

The location is great for Paoma Mountain, not sure about anywhere else. The food in the hotel was lovely and the staff are SO NICE and so so helpful! They were so accommodating and helpful. The beds and duvets were so cosy too, recommend!

Our room was a little noisy at night we could hear other people talking loudly downstairs.

Everything was great!

We stayed in the Family room (2 kids 2 adults). The host are the best I've ever had. The food was delicious (fancy some Yak meat?). It is within walking distance to the town square, and the host can help you get transportation to Tagong Monastery, and the airport if needed. The bathroom and the rooms are warm. The staff does not speak English, but the menus, and the instructions are in English. We had a great time in Kanding, but the best was definitively when we came back to relax at this hotel, and dine in with the hosts.
