My second year of stay at Mr. Buschmann camping. Great location in Union Lido Camping, very clean with everything needed for outstanding vacation. Mr Buschmann has max service orientation and always is on disposal to help if needed. Excellent value for money, high reccomendations.

Everything was fine

It was clean, close to amenities.

The photos and images make unclear as to what to expect. I was hoping that the description was accurate. I thought we would have one more bed from the photos. The air con is noisy. The cheap plastic chairs were weak and unstable.

Union Lido is really one of the best camping in Europe. On our arrival there were a long queue of many cars waiting to check-in but it was going so organized, firstly we were welcomed by a few young people who registered us and we did the check-in even without to leave our car, in less than 5 min. We stayed at Mr. Buschman camping which offered us excellent accommodation, very close to all main spots in Union Lido Camping. Mr. Buschmann is great host, everyday he was around offering his assistance in case we need some additional information. Also, Union Lido have a very nice offer of amusement for children where they will enjoy. Overall, we did a great choice staying at Mr. Buschman camping.

Mr Buschmann is an amazing host. We stayed with another holiday company for the first 7 days at Union lido. They kindly saw him the day before checkout and arranged the swap over. He took our luggage for us until we could check into the caravan at 3pm, he even collected it from the reception of the other company so we didn't have to carry it. The caravan had everything we wanted and much more, even proper pint glasses :) plenty of space in the awning and a gas barbecue. Mr B (Ronny) gave us a tour of everything in the caravan and outside, his English was excellent. He has a great team who keep an eye on the caravans at night and even close the vents if it rains. It was easy to contact him for anything and even offered a lift to the aqua park when we saw him one day, wouldn't take any money either. The 90 euro cleaning fee was included in the booking.com charge which seems expensive but it was nice not to have to clean on the check out day. Once again he looked after our luggage all day until the taxi came to take us back to Treviso. What's really useful is he allows you to book only a few nights, the company we stayed with only did 7 night blocks so it worked out better value for us to fly back after 9 nights, 2 with him. You have to check out and back in at Union lidos cash office to switch accommodation and pay the tourist tax for the nights you've stayed up to this point. Union lido is an amazing place to take your family, it's not cheap but if you are smart and don't eat out all of the time it's ok. The water parks, huge clean beach, inflatable park (morbidosi) and the mini golf are fantastic. Ice cream is everywhere and beats anything at home. The main pizza restaurant makes the best pizza ever and the supermarkets are well stocked. Entertainment is great too. This was our 3rd stay at Union lido and probably not the last. Most definitely would stay with Mr Buschmann again.

The air conditioning was a little loud but we found turning it to the lowest setting reduced the noise, turning it off left it too warm. There seemed to be more mosies at this end of the park, I saw a truck spraying something into the trees at the other end of the site in the first week where we had much fewer bites, could have just been the weather changing or something but it wasn't a big deal anyway. Booking.com lists towels but it's extra for them, bed linen was included.

Lovely accommodation, spotlessly clean and they'd thoughtfully included everything you could need or might find useful. The staff were very nice and very helpful with our luggage storage request.
