Been here a few times. Great place, beautiful location, lodges are comfy & have everything you need. Leisure centre is cute & we enjoyed spending a relaxing morning there. Restaurant food is good. For the area, the cost is decent value for money,

The little gym has a good selection of quality equipment but I do think it could do with a deep clean rather than a wipe down. The sofa bed in the lodge was adequate but not great for my middle aged back. All other beds were reported as comfortable!

Fantastic as always, we absolutely love coming to Duchally. Cannot wait for our next stay ;)

Minor points to note - Shower took a long time to run hot. Suggest added some baking trays for oven.

Our visit was a 5* all the way. Everything was on point or beyond, right down to bedding, cutlery. Everyone including visitor were so friendly. We didn’t feel uncomfortable being from a very modest background even at the pool, steam and sauna we was made very welcome. Only niggle maybe was the food there wasn’t a lot of veg or hala option but we made a 8 min car journey which wasn’t an issue (have added a pic would anyone want to know, excellent food and it was halal). There was something to do for everyone, bouncy castle, walks of the grounds, swimming and a games room. so over all me and my family loved it and would most certainly make the 4hr car journey again.

Wasn’t enough veg/halal options on the menu but there was places/ take away not to far to go eat or bring back, so it wasn’t an issue for us.

Self catering lodges were great Pool and gym were great

No fresh towels during 3 night stay. Hotel contact me twice beforehand to offer/confirm stair gates but no stair gates in lodge when we arrived. Travel cot didn’t have a mattress Key card timed out before check out time which made for a very stressful 25 minutes while juggling three small children and running up and down to reception and trying to get the car packed up. Some basic provisions in lodge in our arrival which was nice but would’ve been nice to have some basic cleaning products (eg spray for cleaning table etc)

The Hotel is nice and the facilities are good.

The service is not great. Food was not cooked properly. They ran out of draught lager. My starter was not served when the other starters were served. For the Half Board option all the costs are not covered and you pay more than you think. Only £25 per pesron is covered - read the small print as there are hidden costs.

Bin hadn’t been emptied in our room and there was no spare toilet paper Felt like the Sauna wasn’t hot enough. No timer or way to change the temperature

The breakfast was a bit monotonous and could do with some change. Also, a few more vegetarian options would be nice.

We were self catering in a lodge so on this occasion we didn't use the hotel. We have stayed there many times with family and friends and never been disappointed

The room was nice, good size and quiet despite being above the bar. With one notable exception, the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, and everything felt new, clean and well maintained. It was quiet when we were there (before the school holidays).

Our bill was wrong when we checked out, we were charged the full amount for dinner when we had a dinner bed and breakfast deal. We questioned it, the receptionist tried to fix it and brought someone, possibly a supervisor, through from a side office. This second person didn't acknowledge us and ignored us when we spoke to him, continuing to ignore us once he had corrected the bill (with exactly the mistake we had described). To be clear, the hotel had made a mistake by overcharging us, we expected an apology, but we were completely ignored by this second staff member. I felt sorry for the receptionist, she looked embarrassed and was clearly doing her best. The food was pub-chain standard. Fine, but nothing to get excited about. Probably a failing on our part, we thought we were staying in a hotel with grounds. It's a hotel surrounded by fairly new build “lodges”, more like Center Parcs than we expected.

Big rooms, clean, great food, Brenda the massage lady is great, pool is poor, steam room etc good. Great grounds for walking and family's with young kids have games room and outdoor area next to beer garden.

Price of drinks is outrageous. Also watch if you're staying half board the dinner is only to the value of £25pp and most main courses are ib the £16 to £30pp so you'll end up with further charges.

We had an amazing time and enjoy the room 7 and the facilities. We will come back.

loved these lodges best ones I have stayed in yet. supplied everything you needed for your stay. even essential things. place was clean and lodge was situated in a great location. great value for money. will certainly be returning.
