I would love to stay here again because we had so much fun. The units location is prime. The price is perfect. The bikes are a bonus that we enjoyed so much. It was just two of us and we slept in the room and out on the couch bed too so we could watch tv. Both are comfortable and the unit is a cool comfortable temperature in April without using the heater at all. We loved our stay here. I felt the property owner’s instructions were very clear and I did not encounter any problems during our stay. It was wonderful.

The location couldn’t be better! We walked to the beach every day. The condo had everything we needed, including a full kitchen that made it easy to cook and eat in. The hot tub was a plus. Robert was very responsive. We happened to be there during the huge rainstorm and flooding in late January. Robert checked in to make sure we were ok and ask if we needed anything. We will for sure stay here again if we come back to San Diego!

We love mission beach and this was a great little place to stay where we could walk along the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Parks are close by and it was convenient to all the areas in San Diego we wanted to visit.

The place has nice access to beach and local restaurants. Walking distance to the beach and breakfast spots. No need to drive anywhere. Recommend guests bring Soap and shampoo along with your usb brick to charge your mobile device.

Unfortunately there was a storm when I stayed but the place was so nice and and cute. Was a lot bigger than excepted. It’s in a perfect location.

We enjoyed the location, between the beach and the bay could enjoy waves for adults and calm shallow waters for the kids. Wasnt far to travel for any attractions, clean and friendly environment. We saw dolphins, sea lions and rays every morning. Neighbor's were friendly and inviting. Great time overall.

Much needed vacation, would definitely book this gem again!

The location was absolutely amazing! We loved being so close to the beach and view of the bay. Unfortunately when we got there we could not get the key out of the lock box that was broken. Someone let us in and we found another key in the drawer. We did not want to bother the owner since we found the other key. The place itself was okay. The walls were dirty, hole in the ceiling and floor is broken in some spots. There are rust spots on the ground from the table. The kitchen faucet was broken and frustrating for doing dishes. The shower had mold and a gross fishy smell coming from it. When we got there, there were screaming children outside and you can hear everything through the walls (obviously not owners fault but frustrating when wanting to relax) The bed was comfortable but the sheets were upside down which was concerning they were flipped and not washed. The closet was full and not much storage and the little couch for storage was filthy. One of the bikes handle bars were broken but we were able to fix it. We did get to enjoy the hot tub and use the grill and eat outside. The place has plenty of cookware. There were really nice chairs and beach supplies we used stored in the closet. I would just say the place could use some sprucing up and a paint job and it would be perfect if it looked like they put more effort into making it look nicer. We really enjoyed our time in Mission Beach.

Perfect for a weekend or a lengthy stay. Full service amenities inside, hot tub and grill outside. Bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, beach towels, etc. Easily could sleep five. Blankets, pillows on-site. Parking on property, :02 walk to park and beach. Market is :10 walk and Belmont is :15-:20. Can't wait to return!!

Vacation with Granddaughter. The place was easy to find. Very clean, nice location even though thought it was closer to the beach. Hot tub was a nice bonus after trying to keep up with the teenage Granddaughter.

I loved being able to walk to the beach! The place had everything I needed. I was concerned by some of the previous reviews, but none of my concerns were realized. There were enough glasses and places to put my belongings. It was quiet enough. There was some air traffic but it wasn't bad, and the people above weren't loud but they did move around all night. There were coffee pods for the Keurig. The hot tub was great. I loved having the beach chairs and beach towels. The parking space was small but not unmanageable for my daughters Acura MDX.

This was a perfect location for our post grad visit to our friend who was working in San Diego. This property was super close the the board walk of mission beach and a walk or short Uber ride from excellent bars and restaurants. Comfortably fit three with two sharing the queen in the bedroom and one on the pullout couch. Highly recommend this location! Even bigger perk is it had a parking spot available

The location has the very best views. We felt very safe staying in this property. People that own here were very welcoming to us. We will definitely stay here again. (This was our second time less than a year.)

This property was just as described. Proximity was key to everything we wanted to see and do.

This cozy little condo contains everything you need for a great beach getaway. Robert was easy to communicate with and everything was very clean with cute decor. We loved the patio with the hot tub. The weather was chillier than we hoped, so it was great to come back to the condo and warm up in the hot tub. The patio right outside the door has a nice view of the bay. We loved our stay and would recommend to others.

Loved this little condo. Stayed for the weekend with my kiddos and had a lovely time. Walking distance to the beach and breakfast. The owner was quick to respond when needed, would stay again.

Weather was not good but beaches were clean and accessible by foot. Condo is small. 3-4 people max. Well equipped for cooking . Hot tub was a nice plus!

We loved this property and it was perfect for our family vacation. The location is beyond perfect and we would stay here again in an instant. The hot tub was an added bonus!

Super great location! Only opportunity for improvement is stocking the kitchen with additional cups, there were only three. Additionally, would be nice to have it stocked with K cups for coffee. Other than that, really great and we appreciate the honor letting our family stay here.

Robert is a super accommodating host who would bend over backwards to make sure we were comfortable. He was excellent at communication, too. The property itself is more than ideal: it's right on the beach, cozy and yet spacious. You can see the water from the living room window. Everything is modern and updated and beautifully decorated. We could not be happier with our stay, or our host. Thank you, Robert!

The good. Excellent Hot tub. Terrific Location. Comfortable bed. Owner was responsive. The bad. Things are broken and falling apart. Screen door, flooring, mold in bathroom, Few dishes/glasses (2!), paper thin walls ( could completely hear conversations), no closet space (filled with stuff, dresser that can't open etc). Probably was nice 15 years ago but now it's expensive for a beaten up motel room.

We arrived at 4:45 on the designated date to find a condo that hadn't been cleaned. While the owner made immediate contact with his cleaning service and they came, the sheets on the bed were not cleaned. Heat is via a space heater in the L.R.; kitchen, bath, bedroom have no heat. Entry is up 7 very narrow cement stairs, and there are no safety bars in the bathroom. Only light in the bedroom is overhead, so no reading. No directions on how to use the stove/oven, although that appliance is relatively new. No directions on how to access regular channels on the TV. No place to put your clothes since the closet is packed with stuff and there is no dresser. I have stayed at more than a dozen vacation rentals, and this was the worst. We will not be back.

Great location. Comfortable. The kitchen had only one wine glass and very few dishes. The kitchen faucet was broken/loose.

We very much appreciated the comfort of this place. The bed was very good and we had everything we needed to eat some meals in the condo. The patio is good too, with views of the sunset in the fall and a maintained barbecue. The hot tub was not working when we were there but the owners were working to fix it. We appreciated the efforts made to provide some rec equipment. The bikes are a 1 speed cruiser and a newish 21 speed mountain bike. The front brake doesn't work on the mountain bike. As is noted, there are places to rent bikes nearby, but for the distance we biked, the ones included were sufficient. It was clean, but there was a junk drawer in the kitchen and extra to rental stuff in the bedroom closet. We loved the energy of the neighborhood surrounding Mission Beach.

Everything was exactly as explained in the description. I would definitely stay in this property again.

We were so very pleased with the beautiful ocean front location and apartment. Great park down the block for kids. Definitely will come back for a longer stay. Robert had lots of great notes about the home and surrounding area.

My husband and I booked this trip for our daughter's 15th birthday. The condo was perfect for our stay. It was way more affordable than getting a hotel room. My husband and I slept in the bedroom and my daughter and her friend slept on the couch and it was perfect. The property is secure. The rentable scooters are near by and the beach is right there. I highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

A nice beach getaway

Perfect location between the surf and the bay. Lovely early morning walks to Starbucks or a craft coffee shop. Quieter part of the mission bay but close to volleyball and amusement park nightlife with a great roller coaster amusement park rides and mini golf.

It was a nice visit.
