place is next to very busy room with heavy traffic, and no sound isolation. When leaving the owner tried to charge me for some damages to a heavily repaired door which he said had damages due to me. Crook.

The room was very clean, the location is great, everything worked perfectly.

The location provides access to attractions, public transport and the center of Pompeii. The host Salvatore is a nice person and full of useful tips. The breakfast is excellent.

Parking is chargeable, but there is a special price for B&B guests in the nearby parking garage.

Salvatore is a very helpful and charming host. He also helped us find a dogsitter, when we visited Pompeij. Highly recommended.

Salvatore is the happiest host ever. He brings a smile to your day. He's very helpful with local information. His breakfasts were great, plenty of it, lots of choice, really sets you up for the day. The location is a short walk from restaurants and the ruins.

There is a small supermarket directly across the road that play loud music from very early in the morning. Although not a busy location, from about 11pm there is a stream of cars that pass with their music blaring out of the windows. Neither of these things are the fault of the B&B.

City center, AC is strong, ease of check in/out, bad mattress is firm, small balcony, internet speed, breakfast was good. Salvatore is easy going person and gives advices on what to do and where to go in the vicinity of Pompei and Sorrento.

Dont leave food on the table in the room because ants will be all over the table, luckily there were ant spray available in the common area, shower water pressure was week, fridge is in the common area but sign above says "fridge cant be used", toilet flash button in the Pompei room was hard to push especially for kids, room entrance door required some force to be applied to close it.

Excellent location. Within walking distance of the Cathedral and the Pompeii excavation ruins, while also being close to access the stores and downtown Pompeii.

The building is older, as well as the facilities. But, you are staying in a very old city and are located in an urban environment with small area apartments.

Overally, our stay at BB Dolcevita was fantastic. The room was tidy, cleaned regularly, equipped with everything needed. Our super nice host - Salvatore was on hand to help, advised us how to get around the area in the best and cheapest way and served up brilliant Italian breakfasts! We sincerely recommend this place especially as a base for exploring the Pompeii and Naples areas.

The host was very welcoming and nice, the accommodation was very close to the central points of interest.

The location was great, just in the city centre. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were very gentle. They explained to us the main points of the city and also provide recommendations about activities and restaurants.

Salvatore was really helpful, providing lots of suggestions about places to eat and how to get the most of our visit to Pompei. He did everything he could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The B&B is perfectly located to make use of the excavations in Pompei and the local bars and restaurants. The breakfast was very tasty and brilliant for our 3 children, it set us up well for a busy day of looking at ancient Roman ruins. Salvatore, kindly let us leave our luggage at the B&B for free whilst we visited the Pompei archaeology site. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Pompei.

Salvatore was extremely helpful and friendly with great communication. We are a family of five, and it is very difficult to find places to stay that can affordably accommodate 5 people, and B&B Dolcevita was perfect for our needs. Nice, simple breakfast in the morning (you pre-order your breakfast items the evening before). It's very close to the Pompeii Archaeological site, and also close to the train station -- the location is fantastic. CAR TRAVELLERS: If you are arriving by car, I highly recommend that you work with Salvatore to arrange parking. He arranged our parking with a private, secured parking facility, called Parking Gloria, just 1/2 block away from B&B Dolcevita. At the time of this writing, the discounted cost for overnight parking is 10 euros, or 15 euros if you arrive early and need more parking time (paid in cash). We felt that our car was very safe in this facility and it was so close by.

The breakfast room was a little cold, but we just wore our jackets (not really a problem)

The host (Salvatore) was excellent. He was very prompt in responding to email requests and prepared a great breakfast. He also had good tips for dinner restaurants; and the location of the B&B is very close to the train station and to the Ruins.

Salvatore was wonderfully helpful, from saving us cash when he called a cabby he knew to get us to the train station, to helping us with directions to his B and B, to pointing us in the right direction for a free rapid Covid-19 test at the Pompeii archeological site.
