Staff was excellent. Good value. Well cared for property. Not much nearby but hotel restaurant was excellent. Good breakfast.

This is a really welcoming boutique hotel where we stayed one night after arriving in San Jose from London. The reception staff were very helpful when we arrived a little later than planned, and provided complimentary coffees and drinks as the restaurant had closed for the night. Our room was well-equipped and comfortable, and was good value for money. We would have stayed again on our return to San Jose at the end of our holiday but the hotel was closed for refurbishment. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of local dishes and fresh fruit. Waiting staff were very friendly and everyone made us feel welcome. This was a great start to our holiday in Costa Rica and we would stay again.

Not much to fault here. Our airport pickup didn't show, for which the hotel management were very apologetic, but it didn't spoil the overall experience - that said, they should have checked. Otherwise, Hotel Isla Verde ticked all the boxes 😁

Clean and comfortable room, the hotel is very well furnished too. Friendly staff and room service available as well. Breakfast area is nice and decent options. Free parking also a bonus.

The hair dryer wasn't clean in the bathroom, and we had an issue with the pump on the soap bottle in the shower. Single night stay so we didn't notify the staff.

Price seems a bit high given the hotel is a bit far from the centre of the city, the comfort/ design of the room and the breakfast choice.

Good hotel for a one night stop off in San Jose after a long flight. Hotel was nice with plenty of parking.

Only slight negative is there wasn't too much within walking distance but done the job for one night.

Coffee was simple but great. Comfortable room, with queen bed, good shower. Breakfast was very good, not many options but basic well done (eggs, bread, coffee, pancakes, etc.). Staff was very kind with us. Good location, quite near from SJO airport.

Maybe a glass box in the bathroom to avoid water out of the box. The TV was not so large comparing the space of the bedroom but not a big problem.

I loved everything, the location, the private parking, the room, the breakfast.

The breakfast was ok. The fruit bowl was delicious, but the rest was nothing to write home about.

The rom was small, and lacked basic details. There was no desk and chair to sit at and work.

Everything, included breakfast was delicious, decoration was beautiful in the room and the common areas of the hotel, the staff was super nice, they gave me maps, indications, tips and almost planned my vacations.

They didnt tell me at the begining of my stay that tap water was potable, so i asked for water bottles that were charged to my room but after that they unformed me that tap water was drinkable.

The food at dinner from the restaurant was overpriced and not good. I say that you go out to eat instead somewhere else.
