It was the worst hotel I saw

The hotel is not a good level stsndard No shower.. Horrible I left on the same day Never recommend for your clients

The location

1) Booking states every room has a balcony which is not true. 2) Booking states it’s 10mins away from the beach, when there is no beach nearby. However, a 10 mins walk takes you to the coastline with lots of pebbles, cobbles and rocks. No sand. 3) It’s not sound proof, which meant I had to hear a couple making out for 3 days in a row and they were loud. Nothing was done to ask the couple to keep quiet. I was not happy as I couldn’t sleep due to the noises they made every couple of hours. 4) The shared toilet was tiny, and there was a strong smell of sewage which sometime could be smelt in the bedroom.

The location is exceptional. The place is calm and the staff most helpful.

The room needs some refurbishment.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Located in the city center. Good breakfast.

Mold in the bad and in the sheets

It was not easy to see, because everything is so old and stained, but the room smelt clean and the sheets were clean. The location is quite good in that it is on a main road close to the seafront and not too far from the city centre.

It was a similar style to the cheapest backpacker hostels I’ve stayed at in India and South east Asia. Grim. Probably build on a budget 40 years ago and never refurbished since. Plastic so old that it has started to disintegrate, foam mattress that dips in the middle, water stains built up over decades, things ‘fixed’ with selotape and coat-hangers… etc. I don’t mind all that, it’s a bit of an adventure, but a fair price would be 15euros a night, not 30.
