Modern simplicity. It fulfilled what we required. Great shower. Good private small terrace area.would recommend and return.

There could have been a bin in bedroom.

Lovely rural location, and convenient for National Trust properties. We were even able to top-up our electric car. Delightful garden if we had stayed longer - perhaps for breakfast in summer.

We were surprised not to have shower gel and shampoo, but managed! Plenty of everything else!

Loved the location, and the peace and quiet Shower was lovely. Loved the fridge microwave and kettle in the room.

Being super picky as it was so good! The thick duvet in the warmer season was bad for someone who runs very warm

Was very convenient to Wallingford which is where our son lives. Was very well equipped and lovely location ,very quiet.

I didn't get the email from booking .com to get into the property until after I contacted the owner . Checked before we left home and after we arrived at the property ,luckily I could call the owner to gain access.

Nice people, nice room, great location

It was a smallish room, and fine for me travelling alone. I felt it would have been a bit full if my wife had been with me. Also, like many hosts nowadays, the style is to put a lot of cushions in the room. It's just a personal taste, no criticism, but 4 pillows plus six large cushions overfilled the room. Again, if there had been two of us, the many cushions would have been a real problem. For me, leave them out, but that's a personal choice. Also, I could get 2 channels only on the TV in the room. Not a problem for me, as I did not watch TV, but it would have been a problem. I didn't mention this to the hosts while I was there, as it did not bother me.

The bench outside was a bonus. shower warmed up quickly. Peaceful location. Good quality white towels.

No bedside cabinet on one side if bed. we would have preferred much less storage and storage moved to create more room on that side of bed to make it easier to get in and out of bed. We couldn’t get close enough to either mirror to see to put contact lenses in or to put make up on. Either a vanity mirror near the basin would have been good. The basin is small for washing up and we didn’t realise should have brought washing up liquid.

Quiet location, not too far from the main town, very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, private, easy access.

A lot of the space was taken up with units containing several large drawers that are probably not really necessary for that type of accommodation. With a smaller chest of drawers by the en-suite side of the bed, the bed could be moved a few inches more from the wall to allow room for a narrow "bedside" table or similar on the other side to put a glass of water on overnight, or my husband's specs so that he wasn't in danger of standing on them in the morning! A foldable table would be good to make eating easier whilst sitting on the bed. We stayed last year, so this time took some washing up equipment (bowl, sponge, tea towels etc) as it wasn't ideal trying to wash up in the small hand basin.

I was self catering. The area was lovely. Peaceful and quiet.
