Beautiful house lovingly restored with excellent outdoor facilities.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect The host Alexandra is so delightful. The setting , the house and all the facilities were perfect . Alexandra’s attention to detail goes beyond any other cottage we have stayed in . It has been the most wonderful break for relaxing, just sad to be leaving so soon. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing break in the most beautiful setting .

The garden, the views and the house exterior are spectacular. The garden is large, very green, we’ll maintained and surrounded by forests and some farmland with cows. The only sound you hear is that of a variety of birds. You get a great view over a valley, which reaches all the way to the Seine / sea. We came in July with a group of 4 adults and 2 children and with the warm weather really enjoyed the pool. We were warmly welcomed by Alexandra, also receiving a nice basket with local food products. Alexandra stayed in a smaller house on the same grounds and was so kind to clean the pool a few times.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. It is good to be aware that there are 3 bedrooms, of which 2 have an en-suite bathroom so if you’re staying in the third bedroom you have to pass through one of the other bedrooms to reach a bathroom. Since it’s a (beautiful) old house, the ceiling on the upper floor and most doorpost are low so you sometimes have to bend. As it’s in the countryside an insect screen would be nice to have, but we understood from Alexandra that she still has a lot of plans to further develop the place so this may already be on her list.

Everything .... the kitchen needs some deco improvements but all is there ... just loved this place 😍

Nothing except the price ( a bit too expensive :) ... loved everything there
