The whole property was clean with spacious rooms and necessary amenities. View from the lawn outside was awesome, and with the fresh air and the constant call of different species of birds, the experience is something to be cherished for long. Food was also very tasty, and the chef went out of the way to prepare dishes not part of their menu. The property staff Mr. Riyaz, Mr. Rajnikanth and Mr. Manoj were helpful right from the outset, and had called well before check in enquiring about any food orders. Overall it was a peaceful and memorable stay for our family.

The food service could have been a bit faster, as we need to wait a bit more if we order different varieties of food, which would be delivered one by one. Although we understand that the kitchen services are a bit limited, this could be looked into in future.

Stayed in April 2023. We loved our stay in Teanest. The staff were very courteous. Loved the food and best part is that very very tasty food is available at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately we stayed only for a night but would suggest spending at least a day or two completely there and just enjoy the scenic view and nature.

This is our second visit to this lovely homestay and we had a wonderful experience. Mr. Lakshmi is always there to help you with everything you need. Both our trips were workations and Lakshmi ensured we had good wifi signals by adding an extender. He was also helpful in moving tables to the sitout from where we could work while enjoying splendid views of the tea estates and chirps of all the amazing birds around. Food was also beyond our expectation - scrumptious local breakfast with a lot of variety and an a la carte menu with tasty south indian, north indian and indian chinese options - all reasonably priced. All meals are alfresco if you like the ever cool weather. Max and Kalai served us during our stay and were really sweet people too. Highly recommended.

Superb location.. Good ambience & super food

Location is brilliant, staff is prompt. Property manager (Lakshmi) is extremely kind and helpful. With only few rooms, this place is quiet, comfortable and feels homely.

1. Limited options for food. 2. When full house, buffet could be served. 3. Food gets cold very fast due to the weather. Hot cases for every table is a good option and small burner for buffets to keep the items reasonably hot.

Drive way to enter the property is not properly marked . No fence found when we enter from the main road to the property which could be fatal . A reflector with an arrow to property would be helpful to identify the location at night times and the entrance road can be broadened a little for easy commuting.
