The location of this cute bungalow is very close to downtown and is in a gorgeous neighborhood. The decor is very California/Mediterranean and is very pretty, thoughtful and comfortable. It felt like we had our own little house. Very private. It had everything we needed for a great stay.

The property was just awesome secluded but yet close to everything within minutes. Peaceful and quiet, waking up to the birds singing, was so relaxing. It was exactly what I needed to get away from my work and normal day to day. Although I had to do some work from there which was easy to get to the things I needed to get the work done and get on with the relaxing. Absolutely loved it!

Nice little cottage at the back of the owner’s property. As others have mentioned, the view while in the cottage is of the owner’s home. There is a lower deck with a lovely ocean view. Lots of stairs to get to the cottage, as is listed in the description. Nice, quiet, safe neighborhood in the hills of Ventura. I got a lot of great walking in! We didn’t have any contact with the owners, just messages pre- and post-trip. All communication was prompt and helpful. The amenities list a washer and dryer. These are not in the cottage. (Maybe the owners let you use theirs?) My one friendly suggestion would be to clear cupboard space in the bedroom for guest use. There are extra linens, which is nice, but there are also quite a few personal items from the owners that could be removed. We appreciated the easy check-in and check-out. All in all a nice stay. We’d return.

It’s a perfect place for two people to stay it is just enough. It’s close to downtown Ventura, the highway and the beach. My grandchild loves to visit the “Little House” and so do we. We plan to stay again in the future.

Very clean. Excellent attention to detail. My husband and I came for a wedding and this was the perfect place for us to stay to enjoy Ventura. It is located behind the owners home but feels very private. The view from the lower deck is beautiful when the sky is clear. We were there during a rainy spell, but we still got one day to enjoy the view. I loved the location. Felt very safe, the cottage was cozy and the bed comfortable. There are stairs as the description mentions but was not a problem for us. Thank you for a great stay!

This charming cottage is bright in charm and color. Very peaceful place with patio’s to relax while having our morning coffee. We had all the amenities we needed and our host was available if we needed anything or had a question. Parking was a little tight, and many stairs, but we managed just fine. Don’t let the stairs scare you.
