Property was so close to the Fairfield Bay Marina! Literally a 1-2 minute drive. Fully furnished kitchen was amazing! We built a fire in the fire pit with wood the owner provides at the property. Comfy beds and plenty of room to spread out in the house. We really enjoyed our weekend trip and would definitely recommend - we will be back!

Overall our stay was good, but probably wouldn't stay here again. Upon arrival there were some problems. 3 out of the 4 lights didn't work on the hallway bathroom vanity. Some light switches didn't control anything or they had an unusual dimmer switches in their place. The front steps were not very well lit at night even after we figured out how to turn the light on. Kitchen had good functionality, but had a shortage of sharp knifes or a way to sharpen them. The hallway bath tub had slow drainage. The ping pong room's electric door lock didn't work. Possibly low batteries. We had to deal with full and varmint invaded trash upon arrival. The owner, Mike, was helpful with these small problems for the most part. Now for the great things this home provided. My grandson loved all the board games and the bedroom with bunkbeds. Each room had streaming video services. The neighborhood was super quite. Of course we stayed in October which is out of season for the nearby lake. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. The backyard patio and firepit was great with plenty of dry firewood to burn and prepare smores. The ping pong room was fun for my grandson. This home was just not the normal home we normally rent, so don't consider any of my review as a testament of how well you will enjoy it. And this was a working vacation for us. It is probably a much experience in the warmer months.
