It was in front of the hotel Keflavik, very nice location. I was able to use the facilities at the hotel as well, like storing my luggage and the breakfast as this was included in my booking. I also used the restaurant for lunch time and the food was amazing. The guesthouse room was very clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were also very tidy, and everything was very well organized. The property is also close to a walking trail as informs by the hotel staff, and is great for solo travelers.

Accommodation was clean, well equipped and in a great location. It is owned by Hotel Keflavik across the road which looks amazing. Breakfast was served there and it is a buffet. The choice of food was incredible. Wished we were staying longer so that we could try everything. Very handy for central Keflavik and a short drive to the airport. Breakfast is served from 5.00am which is great if you have an early flight. The shared bathroom was very clean and there are two bathrooms to around 6 rooms so we never had to wait.

It was quite noisy during the night with people coming and going. The pillows were too soft for our comfort.

The person who greeted me at the front desk to check in and check out was exceptionally nice. He was so patient and polite and put a smile on my face as soon as I walked into the main building to check in. I’m unsure of his name but he said he works a 7pm-7am shift and he was working there on a Wednesday night. Helped me book my taxi for 5am the next morning as well! The breakfast spread is also the best breakfast I’ve ever seen in any hotel in my life. Significantly better with more variety than the breakfasts in the United States for certain. I was very happy with all of the options and variety!

I didn’t realize the guesthouse had shared bathrooms, but that might have been an overlook on my part.

The bed was super comfy, the water pressure in the shower was great, the staff was super helpful, and the breakfast was AMAZING.

Would have liked a double bed, but the single that I had was very comfy.

Good Breakfast Buffet for the price of the Room

We got a room in the Hotel vis a vis - free upgrade. It was more comfortable since breakfast and restaurant was in the hotel. We had to check out very early (4:00 AM) and we found the breakfast already available. And what a breakfast!!!! There was everything that you could imagine. They told us that it starts at 4:00AM, but around 3:30AM you can already found some coffe and croissants. It is very close to the car rental Go Iceland/ACE where we had to drop the car. Also near to the airport if you have to go directly there.

The shower was not made well, and the water was bouncing out through the gap below the glass. As the consequence all bathroom and a part of the room was coverd with water after each shower. The room was very small. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant and I have to say that I would expect more from the restaurant in 4 stars hotel. The vegan hamburger was a little burnt. It was crowded and badly illuminated. The interiors are very eclectic, gives confusing vibes.

Everything! The room was very clean and spotless and the shared bathroom as well. The guest house is owned by the hotel and you have the breakfast there which is very good and rich. You have all options and multiple choises for every taste. Great value for the money.

We stayed in room 106 and the bed next to the window had some draft and was a bit chilly for sleeping.

It is near to the airport, so it is a very good option for the first accomodation if your flight departures at night. You can check in at the hotel in front of the guesthouse. It’s very clean and comfortable. The breakfast which is available in the hotel, is absolutely amazing.

Good breakfast buffet, close to the airport and has a microwave, a kettle and a toaster for simple meals.

The window in our room was broken and the draft coming from it made the room cold. The staff was very helpful giving us a towel to reduce drafts and a electric heater so in the end we weren't cold at all.

I am very grateful for the staff. At check-in they realized I had only booked for one person in the Guesthouse across the street from the Hotel Keflavik but we were two. Since there still was a room available at the hotel they upgraded us without any extra charge. We got a newly renovated room which was spacious and very nice and so was the bathroom. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant since we arrive late and finding an open dinner restaurant would have been a challenge. A lot of kitchens close at 9pm. It was a pricy but very enjoyable dinner in a nice surrounding. The breakfast buffet had a very good selection of food as well. Thanks again for the upgrade. It was very much appreciated.
