De locatie van het hotel was dicht bij de snelweg en dus goed bereikbaar. Wij waren op doorreis.

Bij aankomst in het hotel kregen we te horen dat er die avond een bruiloft was en dat we niet in het hotel konden eten en we konden ook niets drinken omdat de bar ook dicht was. Wanneer we wat wilde eten werden we naar MC Donalds verwezen of weer 20 minuten in de auto, terwijl er tegenover het hotel restaurant Gasthof Kreuz open was. Daar hebben we heerlijk gegeten. Dit is echt hele slechte service. Vervolgens was er een mobiele airco op de kamer aanwezig, maar die maakte zoveel geluid dat deze niet aan kon wanneer je wilde slapen. Door het warme weer werd het daardoor zeer warm op de kamer en oncomfortabel. Mijn advies is om hotel Egerkingen niet te boeken, maar het tegenover gelegen Gasthof Kreuz. Daar hebben ze goede kamers en heerlijk eten.

- Die Lage grundlegend könnte schöner sein, aber sonst war alles sehr gut! Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht so ganz, ist ja immerhin auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen…

A bit too expensive, regarding hotel rooms

Convenient location, Motel style park by apartment, very clean and spacious modern facility.

Typically high Swiss Prices but that is no reflection on the Hotel, its the high cost of everything in Switzerland

We stayed here as an overnight stop while traveling south to Italy. It was easy to access from the freeway; not tricky to find or far away. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful (even in English). The room was large and had beds for everyone. There was plenty of space, even in the bathroom. A family of 4 with a dog could comfortably sleep here for a night. WiFi worked, also in the room. There is a complete and reasonably extensive breakfast buffet here. Some fresh fruit. Plenty of fresh breads. It's pretty good to get you going on your drive in the morning. The restaurant and terrace area is large and comfortable. Nicely done for a road-side place. There's even a beer garden.

This was the most expensive place we stayed on a per night basis for our entire vacation (by >20%). A good place to stay, but not a good deal at all.

It was close to a nice hiking spot. Prepare for an advanced hike with good hiking boots. The room had a nice big balcony. The hotel has a great restaurant. Quite pricy though. But it is Switzerland, so you have to count with that. Staff was super friendly. Coffemashine in the room, free coffee and tea was available.
