We’ve been going to Eagle River for over 50 years and this was one of the best properties we’ve stayed at. Very spacious, great location and great amenities. It was perfect for our family. It is as good if not better than advertised. We definitely plan to go back.

Snowmobiling Trip to Eagle River. 2nd year in this Cabin and it was great again.

7 of us had a very nice time at this rental property. The great room was just perfect. Some of us would play pool while others were playing board games while others were cooking while others were watching TV. And yet we were all together in the same room enjoying the great Northwoods. This is not a remote or isolated cabin but there were no others in or around the adjacent property. It is a beautiful place. We enjoyed the lake and used the kayaks on a gorgeous sunny day. Immediate access to grocery stores in downtown Eagle River was a big plus for us. Kim’s communication was very good and addressed any and all questions we asked. We would definitely consider repeating this vacation at this property next year.

Everything was great from booking to leaving. Clean, tons of stuff to do. No one was on their phones! Great location too!!

We had a group of 8 for a 60th birthday getaway and stayed for 5 nights in early September 2022. Overall, the property was terrific and is highly recommended. On our arrival there was a small issue with housekeeping; however, with one call to the host it was quickly addressed to everyone’s satisfaction. The home was very comfortable, had everything we needed, offered plenty of space inside and out, and the amenities were great – the lake front pier, paddle boards, fire pit, pool table, hot tub and sauna were a few favorites. Everything on the property was well maintained and in good working order. Communication with the host, Kim, was exceptional and any needed recommendations or other questions were responded to immediately. We had a great week and really enjoyed staying at the Tall Pines lodge!

This place exceeded our expectations. Not only was the place a great size, clean, fully stocked and cozy.......the owners were so sweet and personable. They went above and beyond to make our short trip more memorable. All of us had such a great time and enjoyed utilizing all of the "extra's" .....kayaks, paddle boards, pool table, horse shoes and fire pits. It made Lake Life all the better. The location is great, close to shopping and food. We even walked in to town one night. The lakeview was awesome and the moonrise was absolutely gorgeous. We would definitely love to go back!!! Absolute wonderful vacation for us!

This property is amazingly beautiful! Aside from its location, there is a lot of activities to do (hot tub, sauna, table tennis, fishing, kayak, paddle board, billiard, and a lot more! ) No boring moments at all. We all enjoyed our Labor day weekend. On top of it all, we saw the Aurora Borealis on our second night! Indeed one of our most memorable trips! Kim, the amazing property manager answer all our calls and text messages! (Even late at night!). We definitely recommend this place and we will surely comeback given the chance.

Excellent....but the mattress (Queen) in bedroom right of bathroom was terrible.......needs replacement.

Overall very happy with the property. Some of the pics are deceiving, especially the slope down to the dock/water. It's a steep incline so if you have members in your group that would struggle walking up steep inclines, be aware. The fire pit is on the opposite point which is a beautiful property but it's not close to the main lodge. Over-all our family used the term "epic" for our stay on the Eagle Chain!

Property was great, huge gathering room with tons of space for our group of 8 to eat, drink and laugh. Very close to town for picking up our snowmobile rentals and shopping. 2 small issues 1. The 6 large trash cans were full when we arrived from pervious rentals, (a property manager did take our trash on the second day) 2. the gas fireplace did not work with the labeled switch behind the bar. Other than that the place is awesome and I would highly recommend!

My significant other stayed here with a group guys for a “guys weekend” and snowmobile trip and said it worked perfect for entertaining. The host also texted a list of instructions that were very helpful. Would recommend this place in the future!

This has a nice spacious great room for everyone to gather. Bedrooms are nice-beds are very comfortable. Showers are nice and hot! Great after watching snowmobile races in super cold temps!

Great experience, phenomenal location, Mr. Bob is a Michelin 5 STAR host. The home is a luxury lodge.

Bob’s cabin is located 5 min from city still secluded enough that we got to see deers. Bob is an excellent host. He gave information about activities around, specific spots that are not on internet and even provided sleds that our kids enjoyed a lot. The cabin itself is equipped with all required amenities like books, board games, pool table, sauna and bar stools are icing on cake. Overall an excellent vacation spent with friends and family.

One of the most beautiful estate properties I've ever seen. Our group took advantage of almost every amenity - pool table, sauna, fire pit, paddle pontoon, etc. Great host, great stay.

This was the perfect property for 8 guys in their 60s who went to high school together to get together and swap stories of the last 40 years. Bob is the owner of the property and was a fantastic host.

Enjoyed “cabin time” for the first time in Eagle River. Bob was a great host. The property is beautiful and fully equipped. The lakes are full of great bars and restaurants. Brought our own boat and put on 82nm! Biked to town a few times for shopping and snacks.

We had a wonderful long weekend with family. Wouldn’t have changed a thing… owners were extremely nice and accommodating and kids of all ages and adults had so much fun in the cabin, outdoors, and on the water! Will definitely go back!

Property is pretty much exactly as advertised. The owner lives on the property and was absolutely fantastic. Great trip.

We were blown away by the hospitality and friendliness of Robert & his wife. Our last minute trip planning left us with sold out pontoon rentals throughout the area. When we told Robert, he was able to help us get one right away which made our trip even more amazing. The cabin was comfortable, quiet, and had every accommodation - there was even a beautiful property tour upon arrival! It's secluded yet so close to the downtown area if you need to make a trip in for supplies. Robert had great suggestions for restaurants, shopping, and everything in between. He was always friendly and wanted to help with anything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. 10/10 would recommend!

Five star

Wonderful place to stay.... well stocked home, ample space indoors and outdoors. Piers for docking boats. Kayaks, stand up paddle boards, peddle boat furnished. Great lake, and good location. Close to town of Eagle River and many nice bars and good restaurants in the area. Two people in our group brought boats along. Unfortunately it was noticed that one of the boat trailers nearly lost a wheel just as we arrived at the property. The owner, Bob, cold not have been more helpful or accommodating. He arranged for someone to come to the property to take a look at the boat and decide what it would need for repair. Owner got online and ordered parts including the axle that had to come from Florida! Delays in delivery meant that boat trailer was not repaired by our day of departure. Bob let us leave the boat & trailer at his property and arranged for someone to come and repair the trailer. We were able to go back two days later to pick the boat & trailer up and head back home. Such a friendly, kind and accomodating man!
