The location was beautiful. We had a fantastic 9 night stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the host. She made us feel so welcome and was very friendly. Loved it. Would recommend this property to anyone wishing to explore the area.

Friendly staff, pub in nice rural location, very good breakfast.

The accommodation is very tired and in need of a complete overall. Grotty grout in the shower with shower door that doesn't close. Clunky tap, needs fresh paint. Light fittings in bedroom old, dusty and frayed. Bedroom carpet stained.

Peta and Raf are fantastic hosts, room was perfect for our family. Location is great for our trips to Longleat and Bath. This was our second stay and we're planning next years trip in The Bunkhouse! Andrew

Not so good things: - "Private bath" means to Me: a bath not just a shower. - The location is far from the major cities, nothing to do localy

Lovely owner, very friendly and helpful. Set in a beautiful rural location in a small hamlet. Great quality and choice for breakfast, which is selected on a form the night before. Good self service check in system.

The mattress was a bit soft for our liking but obviously that’s our preference. Not sure whether the bar in the main building is used as it was closed at 8pm when we got there.

The breakfast was excellent, locally sourced and with lots of options. The host very friendly and accommodating and helped us with all of our questions. The rooms are basic but clean and well kept. We didn't have time to explore the area on foot but it seemed lovely.

The host, Petra, was very friendly. The breakfast was very good (typical English breakfast with sausages, ham and eggs). I liked the location which was very quite and the fact that there is ample space to park your car. The room we got was huge, had four beds and an additional sofa.

There was not enough light in the room. It took some time until the water in the bathroom got hot (had to leave the water running for some time). The isolation of the windows was not good, cold air could get in.

After a long day out in the rain it was lovely to end our day with a lovely experience. Easy to get to parking was great, lovely quiet location in the countryside which is what we are used to so was great! Entered our room and was so at ease. Lovely spacious family room that was warm and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room was cleaned to a high standard with crisp bedding. We felt very comfortable being there. A simple order form for breakfast to fill before 10pm made us look forward to breakfast in the morning Knowing what options we had. Breakfast was amazing, very attentive. Arrived to our table with drinks at the ready. Everything fresh and top quality from the granola with yogurt to the hot breakfast. Free range eggs delicious bacon and the best sausages I’ve tasted. My daughter who was super excited about the pancakes was not disappointed in the slightest. And the egg and soldiers for my little boy went down a treat also. Host was incredible, hats off to you. Well organised and relaxing b n b. Thankyou 🙂
