It’s a lovely spot, the bird walk could use some maintaince / upgrade but I see how it works
The pools were always cold. It’s starting to chill off though so could have just been the bad time of year

The staff were lovely, the grounds were beautiful, and the easter long weekend activities for the kids were awesome
Its a little way from the main part of GC - and its tucked in behind an industrial estate - but it doesn't feel like that once you are there - it's surrounded by tropical planting and very peaceful.

Quiet location. Friendly and helpful staff. Birds were AMAZING! Pool was FANTASTIC! Information available was on point. Having card restricted access to the property made us feel safe.
Five towels for a family of four for 6 days was not ideal, especially with the children swimming each day. Waiting for the BBQ to be available was inconvenient also waiting for the dryer to be available. Bed wasn't particularly comfortable.

We just loved everything about the place,didn't want to leave.Will definitely be going back there when we travel up there again.Can't say anything bad just excellent and would recommend it to others.

It would have been nice to not be next to the work station areas and be further away next time we visit we really enjoy the macaw mansion just not being right next to the staff.
Moved away from the staff location and maybe a washing machine or at least a dryer in the macaw mansion

Make up mirrors were great! Master bedroom had a tv which was nice. Beds were comfortable. Nice modern cabin. lots of comforts & enough space. Kids activities on weekends were great!
Parking was tight. Sliding doors made it so you could hear everything else going on in the cabin. Bunks were a bit dangerous & should be allowed to remove ladder to top bunk for younger children. Wifi was terrible. More seating needed outside on patio.

central to all our gold coast needs. Secluded, out of the way but that was a bonus. very quiet despite the park being full.

The facilities were amazing and really well maintained - it has a great pool, over 20 exotic birds, 2 playgrounds and a lovely walk around the perimeter of the park. Cabins were basic, but clean and comfortable. We stayed over Easter and they put on lots of activities for the kids (easter egg hunt, arts & craft etc) Great for a families and budget friendly. We'd definitely stay there again.
You'd really need a car if you were to stay here - you can walk to a local supermarket, but for ease of getting around a car is needed.
