Check-in was long (as we came from the ferry, we were 5-6 rooms checking in and there was only 1 person who was doing it for everybody at once)

beautiful property and amazing room they always tried to make everything even better and you could see that with them adding more tiles to places even though you bearly see them just to make everything perfect

the only downside to the hotel is that it is on the mountain so there are many stairs but the staff at the hotel will still do anything to make sure you have the easiest stay possible. and at night looking up at the stairs lit up on the mountain is beautiful

Fabulous room, it was unbelievably nice! We had our own chalet, so this was really private and quiet. The bed was just a dream, so comfy! The view from the room/terrace was so beautiful! I don't understand that this hotel doesn't have a score of 9+. Definitely recommend it!!

Some of the staff where less friendly, but most of them are really nice!

The staff were amazing - they would go above and beyond to help. The free shuttle to the beach was great, and the “out of hours” service was fantastic - they were so quick to reply on WhatsApp & pick me up. Big room & comfy bed. The guest pool was nice - I didn’t go in the divers pool. Breakfast was good. I loved the barista coffee!! I had a morning dive before breakfast so they prepared a takeaway breakfast for 6:15 which was great & tasty! Would stay again.

The bedroom within the rooms are out dated and need a bit of tlc but the bathrooms are lovely. Be aware they’re not very private if you’re sharing with friends, and there there are quite a lot of stairs / steep. 10-15 min downhill walk to the beach but I didn’t mind that given the shuttle service to get back.

Bed was fairly comfortable. AC worked well. Breakfast was okay.

The photos do not match the hotel. We had a sunset room which had a nice view but we could not open the blinds because the other rooms are very close and could see straight in. Terrace is not covered at all and also very close to other people so no privacy. There was a very small closet for clothes but no shelves or drawers to put your things in. Bathroom was a bit dark, and not very clean. they could clean the glass doors and windows and scrub down the shower head. It wasn‘t dirty but also not clean. We could not really use the pool because there was constantly diver training so only option is to go to the beach which always required a shuttle service. They offer 4 free rides down to the beach but we seldom used it because then we had to be on some kind of schedule. Cost is then 50 Baht per person each way. Not a lot but somehow annoying. Rooftop bar has a nice view but the bartender could not make a drink properly. Alcohol was watered down as well. Best to just have a beer or fruit shake.

super friendly and helpful staff, very nice resort with fantastic views. The transport service around the island was great and the support for arranging transport to koh nang yuan was very helpful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They ensured pick up from hotel and organised the ferry for leaving. Great view from the room. Nice diving pool although we couldn’t always use it as there was regular scuba diving courses ongoing. Transport available to and from town.

The Wi-Fi is quite poor in the room. Shower wasn’t ideal in terms of temperature and pressure. Although transport is made available by the hotel, if you decide to walk back from the beach, it’s quite a trek. Perhaps make it clearer when the diving pool will be used for courses to avoid the trek to and from the pool.

The location and facilities make Tara Align feel truly special. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Strongly recommend a room with grand pool access. Staff provided lifts to town

The quietness of the location, kind wild. The staff, the coffee breakfast lady, but not the coffee.

The breakfast could be improved. The resort was not as clean as we expected. No intimacy because the toilet is transparent and every noise was perceived by the partner. Going to the toilet in the middle of the night was noisy and during the day no privacy.

We stayed in the villa hilside. It was amazing. Beautiful room and view, quiet and magical. The breakfest was the best we had so far in Thailand. The staff were very friendly and kind. The pools are really nice. Hope the diving center will come back cause they have the most amazing diving pool. Highly recommend!

The toilet have glass door which is kind of weird cause you want privacy.. the room could have more lights (without outside light it was quit dark). The location is a bit far - need a motorbike, or walk about 15 min up hill. We didn't have a problem with that because of the scooter, and we liked the quiet. Also they have free shuttle service that works great.

The staff is really nice and speaks pretty good english. They helped us with many things like providing general information about the island and its attractions, booking a ferry ticket, lundary and transportation to almost any place on the island. We booked the room with a pool access. The room is pretty big, clean and modernly designed. The pool next to the room is pretty nice and big with a pretty nice view to the greens outside and the ocean that is a little bit far.

The location is a little bit far from the sairee beach, 15mins walk from the hotel. But walking back to the hotel is pretty hard because it's located on a hill but the hotel offers a shuttle every 2 hours or a golf cart. The room is a little bit dark. The hot water in the shower are little bit weak, just a little. The balcony to the pool doesn't have a good rain protection and lacks some good lights.

The bast hotel in Koh taho and Thailand!!! The service is perfect the food is the best!! Much recommend!!

We just could not believe our luck (or good vibes!) in selecting Tarna for our 10 days in Koh Tao ! It was just great. The sea view villa is lovely, spacious, with great view, good internet (must re-log in multiple times, but very fast). Some guest commented in their reviews about the steep hill/access to villa -> obviously good to know if you happen to have bad knees (or a baby), but we did not find it a problem (even though we're "older" than most tourists in Koh Tao) and always walked up/down the hill (although golf cart transport was offered whenever you want it). Room service is everyday. Service in case of small problem (such as lamp does not work) was really fast. The resort can drive you to rent a scooter and provides parking. Scooter is almost a must like almost everywhere in Koh Tao. The dive swimming pool is big enough for proper swimming. Location is great, it takes 5 min to the restaurants and busy strip on the sea front, and 10 min to the harbor (all by scooter) but you are remote enough in the evening to have the tropical forest sounds and the stars over the sea. Breakfast is good, even though slightly uneven in quality, according to what you prefer. However, the BROWNIE is the best in Koh Tao. Also, if you go on early dive, the kitchen prepares a lovely packed breakfast for you if you needed at 6am. Most of all, the staff is really kind, attentive (they remember your coffee preference, your room number etc) and helpful. We won't be looking for another place when we go back to Koh Tao.

We stayed in the grand pool access, where the pool is beside the jungle and not the stairs of the hotel and it was AMAZING!! The view was gorgeous, the room was big and convinient. Forthermore- the staff was the kindest I met in all Thailand. Always with a smile willing to help. Great free shuttles to the beach in great times.

Privacy does not exist here. All the rooms have transparent toilet with no proper seperations from the room (you can try not to see your partner on the toilet, but you will smell). Furthermore, there is not much privacy in the hotel. Only one grand pool that cant be watched by the visitors passing by, or by higher grand pool, and the rooms all can somehow watch each other if the curtains are not closed properly
