Peaceful location but easy access to beach and restaurants. An absolutely beautiful house in a delightful corner of Crete. It really did look as beautiful as the pictures - with an idyllic pool and every comfort (including great wifi and air con). We travelled with our 7 year old daughter, who loved it just as much. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and had stocked the fridge full of local goodies for our arrival - a real delight to avoid the supermarket after a long journey, and there was a little shop 5 mins walk away where we picked up the (very few!) extras we needed that week. It was around 10-15 mins walk down to Agia Marina where there were lots of great dinner options, and it was nice to be able to stroll out in the evening - when we could tear ourselves away from the amazing views. A wonderful holiday!

Perfect, just perfect. What a beautiful house at a magnificent location. The house has everything you need, from a well equipped kitchen, to a large living room, good beds (in- and outside), many places to sit, even under its own olive garden trees, and a private swimming pool. The view from the terrace reaches over the olive trees to the sea. The house itself deserves 5 out of 5. However, if it would be possible we’d given it another point (6 out of 5) extra for the extraordinary hospitable reception by Chara and Charis. Chara spoiled us with home made pie, ice cream, cookies and Raki. Thank you both for your kindness.

Everything fell the moment we arrived hosts are amazing people so friendly the place is better than the pictures the cleaning is top quality the villa is 5 star

I loved the hospitality of The owners of villa Xara : they came to greet us and had cooked for us. The fridge was full, everything we needed in the house was there. There was no need for us to go shopping.
