The apartment was very modern, comfortable, and the view over the harbor were the main drawing points. I was a bit concerned about possible noise from the street, but with the windows closed we could not hear any street noise. A wide assortment of restaurants was very close.

The interior of the building from the street door to the room needs a good bit of work. The hand rail on the first flight of stairs was not useable, and the newel post on the 2nd floor landing was unstable. The last night we were there, the top bolt securing the cabinet to the bathroom wall came out of the wall so the cabinet was hanging on the to wall with little support. The closest car park was about 12-15 minutes walk from the location. But in general, we enjoyed our stay at Island Sea View very much.

The pictures of this apartment do not do it justice! It was BEAUTIFUL!!! While it is centrally located we had no problem with noise. The shutters closed and were basically sound cancelling and blackout curtains. The sunrises, sunsets, and scenery from the room were stunning. We didn't really use the air conditioning during the day because we had the windows open and the breeze was beautiful. We will be looking to book this place again if we return.

Parking is a trek as it is not located on a vehicle accessible street, but our host gave us plenty of options for free public parking. It took us a while to find available free parking. We ended up parking about a 15/20 minute walk to the apartment, but we were only backpacking so it wasn't that bad. I imagine if you have a lot of luggage it would be more difficult.
