Good location - quiet but easy <10 min walk along nice coast path into the Marina for dinner/drinks, easy further 15 mins walk along coast path into busier Playa Blanca. Some nice beaches along a dirt track ~15min drive and can explore the rest of the island by car. The hostess was very contactable and made some good recommendations. The place was generally clean and had a BBQ and some coals, a washing machine and drying rack which were useful, and there is a small supermarket nearby (2mins walk). Kitchen equipped with all we needed: There was a nice terrace with sofas and a small upstairs balcony. A lovely shaded outdoor eating area as well. It all got a lot of sun but had some good shutters to keep out excess heat for summer. The villa is very homely and has towels, beach towels and nice quilts etc if you get cold.

The pool wasn’t heated - but I hadn’t asked for it to be. It was a little scummy as I think the filter wasn’t turned on. Looked like that would be easily fixed though. Several mornings during our stay some people came to clean the outside area or tend to the pool. This is fine but it would have been nice to have a warning of when to expect people so they didn’t take us by surprise. When we arrived despite giving our arrival time as between 14:00-15:00 the villa wasn’t ready until 16:45. Not an issue really as we went for a walk and drinks but might be a problem with small children who need to get settled! Small quibbles in an otherwise lovely and tranquil stay.
