No gift shop. Garden pool villa bathroom does not seem to provide enough privacy

Beautiful location on the beach. Great breakfast. Loved our stay here and would come back! Walking distance to the best Indian restaurant on the island Akbar.. perfect!

Pool was perfect, having the 2 pools was great and also being able to walk to the beach was a bonus. Breakfast was really good, plenty of variety and staff were very polite and welcoming. Alex the chef was wonderful and Amanda was so knowledge and accomadating a beautiful lady.

We loved our stay at SALA Choengmon. The facilities are great and the location is beautiful. Choengmon is beautiful bay for swimming and we made use of the resort paddle boards to explore the bay. We loved that it was quieter than some of the other Koh samui beaches, but also close enough to Chaweng and Bophut if we wanted some nightlife/action. The Villa we stayed in was great and we loved the private pool. But we also loved the main pool and the beach too. Staff were so attentive and the restaurant food was great. The Thai dancers, movie nights and fire shows were all great too.

- Amazing breakfast- you can order dishes from a special breakfast menu and it’s included with the breakfast buffet deal. - their are two pools. the first is a “all age access pool” - amazing pool with a nice view. the second Pool is an adult only pool - it’s very nice as well but I liked the all age pool more. really good for kids as well. - The food at the restaurant is really really good, lunch and dinner as well. - The beach in my opinion is the best beach in samui, the hotel has its own beds and you get full service at the beach, you can even get kayaks and paddle boards for no extra charge. - The location of the hotel is great - exactly in the middle between the Chaweng and the Fishermen’s Village, 10 minutes out each. staying in this location gives you the opportunity to have some quite , a break from all the noise and just chill out. - The hotel is well prepared to deal with the mosquitoes issue. every night housekeeping turns on for you two “candles” that prevent them from entering the room. - Service was really good, all problems were always solved and with a big smile. furthermore it’s really nice to the staff always a step ahead of you, for example as the take a sit in the pool or at the beach the staff will get you towels and to iced glasses of water.

- The property is quite big and has no golf cart service. for the ones that aren’t staying at a villa it could take up to five minutes to get to the pool and breakfast area and considering the heat it’s not fun at all. - restaurant area has only fans, breakfasts are quite hot…

We had an incredible stay at Sala Cheongmon Beach. If I could give this place 11/10 I would! The Sala Pool Villa was beautiful and serviced regularly by the staff. The beach was well maintained and had plenty of sun beds, which made it feel private even though there were other guests around. The staff were so lovely and attentive. They even brought us complimentary cold water and fruit on the beach! The breakfast was AMAZING with a blend of western and Thai food, as well as plenty of fresh fruit. They also had a mimosa and Bloody Mary station if you fancy a boozy breakfast! Cocktails from the bar were also delicious, and they have two happy hours a day. We couldn’t fault a single thing during our stay at Sala and were very sad to leave. We will be recommending this place to all of our friends and family who visit Koh Samui, and will hopefully be returning ourselves soon!

This is a beautiful hotel !!!!!! The pool area is stunning and the beach is lovely and clean and quiet. The food at the hotel is fabulous. The staff were VERY helpful and friendly. I loved having an outdoor bathroom and pool in our apartment!

The hotel was incredible from start to finish. Great location with shops, restaurants and pharmacy within a short walk. neighbouring chaweng and must visit fisherman’s village all a short taxi away, organised and collected straight from the reception area. All Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and extremely attentive from welcoming upon check in to remembering your favourite cocktails at happy hour. Rooms were clean, cool and constantly cared for. pool area with direct access to beach were amazing with use of kayaks and paddle boards for free. everything taken care of by mobile app offering all services and live chat! would 100% recommend staying and will be coming back again! 5*

everything. we ended our Thailand honeymoon here and it was perfect. gorgeous uncrowded beach. very private room/pool. great breakfast. nice people - guests and staff. free yoga. nice gym. never want to leave.

Everything was wonderful. We went here for our honeymoon and from the moment we were greeted to the moment we checked out we felt like we were in paradise. We did a lot of research before picking our hotel and, looking back, would not change a thing. We even visited some of the other nearby hotels at similar price points and we were extremely satisfied with our choice. We loved the special details (tea at nighttime, soaps on demand, cold water at served at the beach) in this beautiful setting. We picked SALA Choengmon for a few reasons: the beautiful beach (clean, soft sand instead of rocks, some cute snorkeling), the resourceful neighbourhood (great to get basics and even not-so-basics like a haircut), the service, the water sport amenities, the fact that it didn't seem like a totally western-style generic resort, and the luxury feel of the rooms. Don't expect a cookie-cutter hotel room here - they have purposely made the design so that you wake up looking out into beautiful trees full of flowers and birds, going to the restroom feels like going to the spa, and you can really disconnect. The rooms don't really have a large / comfortable table to work on (they have a narrow desk) but there is a library and plenty of tables in the common areas - this was a plus for us as it really felt like a special holiday. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, still dreaming of their delicious acai bowls. As it is not a huge property, don't expect endless buffet options - they are curated, delicious, still plenty of good choice between Western and East-Asian, and we really appreciated that the hotel seems to take food waste reduction seriously. We also did the Thai buffet for dinner one night and there were too many delicious options to choose from. Hope to be able to return one day!

Being veeeery nitpicky, the bedrooms can feel a little bit crowded. Otherwise everything exceeded our expectations.

We were greeted in the room with a bottle of sparkling wine and different fruit. Staff was very friendly. Food was exceptional. Chef was very professional, talking to guests every day. SPA was exceptional. Transfer/taxi service was always available. Room was serviced every day. Every night we were given different tea pot.

Tiles on the porch are slippery when wet. Be careful.

We checked both SALA hotels each for one week - Chaweng beach was stunning in terms of a design but in general CHOENGMON was 110% Success - perfect enviroment, super friendly stuff, great food andd exceptional breakfast. Amazing and clean beach with one of the best views in the word

We enjoyed our stay at cozy villa with small pool. The service was fast. The stuff was very nice and helpful. The food - very good quality. We met the Chef and liked his attitude and his attention to details. The Fun pool was very good for our little doughter. Choen mon beach is quite and nice. Definitely would like to visit again.

We had wifi difficulties at the villa during first two days. It was fixed.

Our stay at SALA was brilliant! Amazing staff who were always willing to help. We stayed in one of the pool villas which was unreal. Housekeeping twice a day, unlimited complimentary water, great buffet breakfast as well as ala carte. The turn down service left a different tea each night which was a nice touch. Overall SALA is a beautiful choice of hotel, very relaxing. We will definitely be back.
