I can only recommend a stay in the Donners Hotel, placed in a very nice area inside the wall ring and close to all attractions café and restaurants within walking distance. We got an upgrade to the three bedrooms apartment for free, and everything in the apartment was just perfect! The breakfast was excellent, a big buffet with both savory and sweet options. We had such a great time!

A little bit more information (we did not get the password for the WiFi) and some suggestions on the city's attractions and events at the reception would be nice. The pillows could have been more comfortable.

Great night porter with vast knowledge about the island and things to do. Exceptionally friendly as well. You felt really welcome.

Hard to find things to not like but the paint work needs some hands here and there and some more sockets for electrical appliances would be nice

The total feel of the place, the rooms and common areas where great. The double beds where comfy and we enjoyed our stay.

We had to change room for our last night because we prelonged our stay. We got two single beds which wasn't that good. They where too soft and unsturdy. We also heard people out in the corrridor very well. Those are my only complaints.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good as you didn't have to book a time slot and it was help yourself buffet covering lots of different options and allergies and quite a wide time frame. Netflix on the TV. Location nice being near the sea and some lovely shops, also a lovely sauna and relaxation pool in the clarion hotel that is right next to this one.

The 1 bedroom apartment 901 was just beautiful from the moment we opened the door we were thrilled. Great washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen, and seating for 6-8. Very comfortable beds and huge windows that open for a sea breeze. Great breakfast with lots of choice, fruit, veg, meat, cheese, yogurts, cereals, bread and pastries. Superb location inside the wall, close to the ferry and all sights. Staff just great 👍.

Location was perfect light in the apartment was beautiful, The beds were comfortable but pillows could be better quality.. The bathroom was perfect washer and dryer worked wonderfully.. they thought of almost everything..

The room was on the first floor so very close to the street and right above two restaurants so the smell of food , cigarettes and the noise was a bit disturbing it was warm outside I couldn’t keep the windows open if I wanted to go to bed at 11 o’clock . I would not recommend this room to people who have small children. The only things that were missing was dishwashing liquid and detergent for the washing machine and to make it perfect maybe a toaster.. they should add 10 more hangers…

The apartment is in a really good position and quite cheap. It is also very nice and spacious with a great view.

It was not really clean, there were clumps of dust and hair on the floor as well as sand (it has supposedly just been cleaned since we met the cleaning lady when we went in) The window in one of the bedrooms was broken so it could not be locked and it was a problem since there is a bar downstairs playing loud music until late in the night, making it impossible to sleep until they turn it off. I told the receptionist about these issues and she took notice without really offering any solution or benefit for the disturbance.

Price is amazing. Location is not bad, if considering the price, it is good. Clean bedding, toilet and shower.
