Cinnamon Wild Yala is a magical place. It is located really close the national park and you see a lot of animals from within the resort. The service was very nice and we were not able to find a similar service during our stay in Sri Lanka. Everything is very clean.

We were not 100% happy with the value for money of the safari organized by the resort.

Politeness of staff

My booking included dinner, bed and breakfast but the property refused to honour dinner being included. Lighting in room was poor so it was difficult to read in bed.

Breakfast was sumptuous with a massive array of dishes from diferent cuisines. Location is the closest possible outside the Yala National Park gates. The wildlife freely roaming the lake at the property was amazing! The beach views from the property made it even more stunning.

Nur wenige Minuten von unserer Lodge entfernt lag das Wasser – ein traumhafter Ort mit schönem Ausblick, perfekt, um den Sonnenaufgang zu genießen. Das Personal war hervorragend geschult und stets aufmerksam – darauf lege ich großen Wert. Ebenso beeindruckend war das fantastische Essen: frische, lokale Zutaten und eine große Vielfalt an köstlichen Gerichten. Das Safari war top, unser Fahrer war einer der Besten! Cinnamon Wild Yala bietet die perfekte Kombination aus Luxus und Naturerlebnis – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt!

Amazing stay at Cinnamon Yala. We stayed in one of the treetop rooms and it's very comfortable. Property is inside Yala National park so there are animals roaming around the property (there are no fences) which adds to the experience. At night someone will walk you to your room for safety. Pool is great size for the amount of rooms and you can enjoy the pool while watching the water buffalos on their natural habitat. We also saw 2 crocodiles on our first day right next to the pool and an elephant bathing the day after. The buffet is really comprehensive and the food is very good both at breakfast and dinner. Well worth booking a safari. We did an evening Safari with our tour guide Gayan who did an amazing job and is very knowledgeable. We saw elephants, 2 leopards and a series of other animals. The animals get very active at dusk . The park gets busy with all the safari cars but I was pleased to see a park ranger there controlling the situation to avoid disruption to the animals.

Nothing major to report . We had a great time. I would say water and basic soft drinks could be included in the meal plan, but given how cheap everything is I cannot really complain.
