Everything was perfect from the location, breakfast amazing views. But the best thing was Donna Fausta and Maria, they were so lovely, welcoming and beautiful people who hosted us and helped us with every detail. I would recommend the villa for anyone looking to stay in and around the Amalfi area.

Donna and the villa itself were lovely and perfect for what we needed it for. it was a little bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop but we are young so that didn’t bother us. there was many restaurants nearby which Donna recommended and they were excellent.

the bed was slightly harder than we are used to. We chose to stay in Agerola as we thought it would be a good location to explore the Amalfi coast but the public transport is awful.

We just returned from our stay at the Villa Donna Fausta and it was absolutely fantastic. Firstly, Donna Fausta herself is simply such a wonderful, warm sweet and generous lady - beautiful from inside out as her villa. Providing you not only with extensive comfort, professional local advice and a great laugh during your stay - but also truly an unforgettable country side Italian authentic Villa experience, we were amazed by the stunning views as well as so many other treasures this property has to offer. The attention to detail is also meticulous , this varies from the soft towels to everything being spotlessly cleaned every day - especially for OCD people like me that is perfect!! in case of any note or question, rest assured Donna Fausta will go out of her way to help you out. Exceptional. Moreover, the breakfast being provided is beyond what I have seen anywhere in Italy - from the eggs to to the prunes, to the tomatoes - everything is produced locally by them and one can taste the freshness in their produce and basically all the ingredients. The breakfast is rich while the options are vast and the choices are healthy as well, I swear it's better than these pictures even, which are already great! Also, Maria's services and cooking is absolutely delicious. Due occhio di bue per favore!! What an absolute joy this has been - un sogno - would 100% advise this to all friends, family and colleagues who want to visit the Amalfi coast. On a logistics note, Please bear in mind that the location Agerola is perfect as one can easily visit all cities the Amalfi coast has to offer (Positano, Sorrento etc.) as we did - with a rental car preferably. First of all the hospitality of Donna Fausta and the villa design and decor. It makes us feel better then home. The breakfast was complete and good. It also has a view over the coast. Is 5 min away from the bus station that takes you to Amalfi, close to a few good restaurants with good prices as well.

All was perfect

The staff is very very nice and very helpful with great recommandation, you really feel at home. Parking is easy and free, the village is accessible and central on the coast and to Naples. The sea view from the bedroom is exceptional and the breakfast is very good! Highly recommend!!

It was an absolutely amazing stay at the Villa Donna Fausta. The accommodation has a great view to the sea and we had a very warm and lovely welcome there. It is to mention that it is also perfect for „gluten-free“ persons. They are doing a tasty breakfast with everything what you need. My girlfriend and me are vegetarian and we had many different variety’s of food. For our trips to the Amalfi coast our host Fausta had every day tips and ideas for example what day drips we can do with local little secret places for going to the beach or for going out to have dinner. We would definitely go there again.

Donna Fausta herself is the most amazing host ever. Charming, with excellent taste showcased in each part of the house. She also gave us the best tips for the area, excursions, food, etc. The service was also 10/10, kind and friendly. Best breakfast ever. They always go the extra mile! Will always recommend and wish to come back soon.

Mosquitoes to say something

Villa Donna Fausta was the best stay! The breakfast was amazing—they even provided gluten-free options when I let them know of an allergy! This is the perfect place for a homey stay while also being within public transportation access of the Amalfi Coast.

Unique authentic "cottage"-like B&B up in the mountains for a very quiet and quaint experience. Host is phenomenal who knows the town and the area very well with great suggestions to get around and where to eat. Breakfast was delicious including healthy options. Daily cleaning service and extra towels available upon request. The town itself is very quiet and quaint - truly a local experience. The staff are so nice. The room itself is comfortable and very clean with a well lit bathroom.

Nothing, the stay and the hostess were phenomenal. Just advice, Less to do with the room itself, and more with the town, lots of mosquitoes, so make sure you close the screens and the bathroom door and maybe even put on non-DEET bug cream.

There is no AC in the rooms, although you can keep window open during the night as weather is more comfortable in Agerola.

I haven't enough words to describe this place. It is like a paradise! Very quiet and beautiful, with amazing views, local restaurants, and very friendly people. Every day I had great conversations with Donna Fausta and got exceptional service from Maria Tereza. Cleanness hit all my expectations! Breakfast consists of fresh local products, fruits, and homemade cakes. I felt the warmth of home at the Villa and was excited by the kindness and generosity of the host. Donna Fausta was very helpful, giving recommendations on where to go and what to see. We could easily get from there to Amalfi, Positano, and other places. Just exceptional vacations!

Not too close to the beach, but you have the option of mountain walks instead or in addition.

A nice hotel in the quaint village of Agerola the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a good selection at breakfast and the host helped organise buses and taxis for our time on the coast. There is a bus stop around a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel that takes you down to Amalfi (40 minutes) and from there you can connect to another bus or ferry to take you on to Priano, Sorrento and Capri. Whilst it is perhaps not as convenient as staying in one of the coastal hotels, the price is far more appealing and the views are actually better looking down the valley! Also very close to the Path of the Gods trail which we would recommend.

Not a criticism as it should be obvious when booked, but factor in around a 40 minute bus journey down to the coast. However, these are fairly frequent and a cheap way of getting around.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Villa Donna Fausta. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Both Donna Fausta and Maria- Grazia are wonderful people. The breakfast is very good, Rooms are clean and the villa surroundings have breathtaking views. We would stay there again:).

Amazing, worth every extra money to get a room with balcony and ocean view! Very good breakfast and best orange juice in the world. You will not regret your stay here, you will only be sad for not staying longer!

It is very high up, so ofcoure you can be in the clouds sometimes.

We only wanted to stay three nights and finally stayed 7 nights! If we come back to the beautiful Amalfi Coast, this wonderful place would for sure be our choice again! We room with balcony overlooking one of the nicest parts of the Amalfitana with a stunning view to the Norman Tower, Furore and Praiano. One of the most beautiful beaches “Marina di Praia” is only 25 min. drive on a wonderful scenic route. Villa Donna Fausta also is situated nearly directly at the start of the Sentiero degli Dei which you should not miss as well. You can do the hole Amalfi Coast including Pompeji or Herculaneum from here and always come back to quietness of Bomerano and safe and comfortable parking right in front of the house. We will never forget Donna Fausta herself! She is for sure one of the most recognizable ladies we met and more than that a lovely person. We are so glad and honored to have had the pleasure to meet her. Not to forget: The “good ghost of the house”- Maria - She awaited us every morning with a -not only for Italian standards - delicious breakfast, with her unbeatable homade pastry and cakes and a lovely smile to get a good day started and reading your wishes before you even had them! You should as well follow Donna Fausta’s restaurant recommendations and make sure not to miss the world’s best Pizza and the sumptuous Burger (with Mozzarella Cheese) at “Crazy Burger” (10 min walk only). For a more romantic atmosphere with great food, the “Corte degli Dei” is close by! As you can see, we were just overwhelmed from our stay!
