Friendly and warm welcome. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with great views over the fjord. Bed linen was included. There was plenty of space for the two of us, and we felt very much at home. The location is excellent, and the site is a nice to place wander around, down to the waterside. Definitely recommended.

We were a little worried seeing the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The view was spectacular and rooms nice and spacious.

A night stay in the Grande Hytteutleige og Camping represented a very interesting experience. The views perceived when arriving are simply wonderful. we were able to enjoy our stay. The service attitude and the rented boat for exploring the fiord represented the great base for this part of our trip.

We were two 60+ age couples with luggage for a more than a three-week vacation so the accommodation spaces were extremely restricted for a comfortable usage. The low season travel complicated the available options, even for having breakfast,

Location is excellent! The cabin had all amenities that one would require. The view of the fjords and sea was amazing. Very neat and clean. We were also able to hire boats to explore the fjords.

Maybe an extra heater for the rooms would be a good idea. Else everything was perfect.

the property is just fantastic for a couple! very nice chalet with all you need with stunning view. I will definitely come back. it is very easy to check in also after hours. the staff very kind and helpful provided with other activities as well.

Great location. Cabin is small but works for 3 - 4 people, and furnishing looked modern and new. Reception staff was also nice and able to solve issue quickly (e.g. pan replacement, borrowing heater). Nice view into the fjord. Good value for money, I think.

that you had to pay extra for linen and towels

this was my FAVORITE place we stayed. Our cabin was clean and had all the necessities. the view was beautiful and at night the stars were bright. The cabin was also wonderful and seems new/newly renovated.

Please note, the “oven” listed in the description is really a microwave. I would not recommend planning any meals that require a traditional oven.

Beautiful location, good view from the cottage balcony. Close to city centre. Front office staff were professional and helpful (as also charming). Parking close by. Grocery store & restaurants are at 5 minute driving distance. Basic kitchenette with pots, pan, cups, plates & cutlery.

We were unlucky to get a cottage with bunk-beds (other variants with double bed were not available). It was too cramped. We were a family of 4; with one medium-sized suitcase each, there was no room left to move around. This place has an unusual practice of charging separately for bed linen - which they are upfront about. Shower gel / soap / shampoo is not provided in the bathroom. Truly camping location, we should not think of this place as a conventional hotel. No microwave or oven.

stunning view’s and friendly staff, great location

having to pay for towels and bed linen, if anything is included it should be bed linen. not as though you’re not paying enough for the place, the bedrooms need to have blackout blinds as for half the year the sun nearly sets.

The location is fantastic, one of the most picturesque spots in Norway. Being in a cabin was a nice way to experience the fjord.
