I stayed for a week and they made me feel so welcome and comfortable that it felt like visiting family. They are such wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible!
The room is big and well equipped, the breakfast is fantastic with lots of options, there is also always cake, coffee & tea during the day and you get access to bikes and anything else you need - you just need to ask. :)
The house is situated in a quiet village of Obertraun, far from the crowds of tourists - but close to the nature, very nice hiking paths and just a short walk away from the cable car station. I was looking for a quiet, peaceful place where I can rest, hike and enjoy the nature - I got even more than I expected! The weather was unfortunately not great during my stay but the hosts gave me lots of fantastic hiking tips so I was able to make the most of my time.
I loved staying there and I hope I can visit again soon. :) :)

Me and my husband were so happy that we booked our stay here. The place is so peaceful surrounded by mountains. If you want to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation i highly recommend this place. Our hosts Gaetane and Milan were so kind, that they even offered to drop us in hallstatt and to the train station for free.
it was a short vacation but it felt home, already missing the vibe. 🥹

The house it’s so cozy,the view it’s amazing and the sound of nature I have no words to describe! The best choose we made:)) Gaetan prepared a lovely breakfast with a customised heart with our names it was so cute and Mila drives us all the way to Hallstatt!!

We had great time there, our host were so helpful and kind. The view from the balcony and the surranding landscape is just amazing. The breakfast is excellent, don't miss it.

We felt just like home in the lovely accommodation. The property was exactly the same as the one presented in pictures, the views are amazing and the atmosphere in at the property is very friendly and familiar.

My stay here was incredible. The family was beyond helpful, gracious, and accommodating. They made me feel at home and wanted to help in any way possible.
I would really have to stretch to say what I didn't like. I thought it was a nearly perfect place and the family was what really made the place. A very small issue for me personally was because I was vegetarian it was harder to accommodate my diet. The family still tried to accommodate by providing hard boiled eggs. The family tries to provide everything possible and asks if they can do more. I am sure they would do more if you simply ask. Again a very minor comment.

Everything is super and clean i feel very comfortable just like my home , Paul and lizz so kind and they gave me help in everything i asked too, and I recommend to try their breakfast . Sure i will back again and again to this place

It was our pleasure to meet Liz and Paul, they gave us a very warm welcome. The house is very cosy and you simply feel as home there. Liz is always available to help or give you tips on interesting places around. The surroundings is beautiful for walking and you can easily reach the main attractions within 5-10 minutes drive. We enjoyed our stay very much and we sincerely hope to come again one day.

Landhaus Lilly- it ticks most of the checkboxes of a traveller. Location, convenience, food, price, hosts- all check. Located on the foothills of beautiful mountains, one can almost touch the clouds on a dreamy day.
Very convenient distance to Obertraun side of Lake Hallstatt and 5 Fingers. The river Traun is a two minute easy walk if you want to just relax on the serene bank. A lot of other big and small sight-seeing options besides Hallstatt are located at a relatively easy distance.
The best part of your stay here, however, would be the hosts- Liz and Paul! No review can express how great they are! Liz even called us in advance and even during the journey to coordinate our stay. They served some excellent breakfast and spent genuine time with us to know what we love and suggested us what to see. They make you feel so comfortable that you'd never want to leave! Overall, a very lovely trip to a very beautiful town.

Paul and Liz were the perfect hosts and they offered us suggestions for delicious places to eat and beautiful areas to explore. We extended our stay due to the hospitality and gorgeous area. We will definitely be back!

Wow, what an amazing experience! Laundhaus Lilly not only was clean, spacious and in a beautiful location at the base of a mount (with access from the backyard), the owner's Liz & Paul went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. The breakfast was perfect, and they even packed up some of the left overs in order for us to have a snack on the mountain. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and would love to come back and stay a little bit longer.
