We felt very welcomed by our host. Before arriving she contacted us and provided information how to reach the house as well as tips for beaches and transportation. The room was big, clean and quiet. There is a bakery just under the house wherefrom we could get breakfast and enjoyed it at the terrace. Within less than 10 minutes we were in the city center (though a small hike on the hill to return). In front of the house there is the bus stop to the airport and few steps further down the bus stop to the port.

The bathroom and shower are quite small. The shower curtain can be a bit bothering when showering.

Apartments Biba is in a really good location- walkable to the wall in a couple of minutes and no need for public transport while you’re there. It’s also right next to the cable car entrance and also the bus to the airport, which was so convenient! Everyone was lovely, and we loved sitting on the terrace at night looking at the lights and the ships in the distance.

Okay, I actually have never left some bad review anywhere, but I’ve also never had a personal experience like this. So, the thing is, I booked a „room/studio with a sea view“. And I paid for that, if I remember correctly. And there wasn’t really any sea view, actually no view at all. I looked right into some kind of bush. The pictures here on booking.com weren’t adequate at all. I’ll attach two of mine. For me, it felt like a fraud. When I tried to explain calmly to the owner while „checking in“, there wasn’t really a will to understand or to clarify. My room was presented to me, short-mannered, almost like a prison cell introduction, I felt uncomfortable and unwanted from the very first moment. My impression was, as soon as she learnt I was a single male traveling, she had changed the rooms. Because there were apparently rooms with views upstairs. But that can be a personal interpretation of the situation. Besides, it was a -I don’t want to say a hard word like moldy, but let’s say- a wet smell in that specific room. I guess people can rent anything In Dubrovnik for the money they want. I would never come again.

The hostess was very welcoming and extremely helpful.

Good location if you without car.

There aren’t any place for free parking, paid parking costs more than apartments. Very small and Uncomfortable bathroom.

the owner said there’s free parking, but actually there’s not. the “free parking” is just the random parking on a very narrow street, and far away from the accommodation. they shouldn’t put free parking on the description, it’s a lie.

The location was very good for visiting the old town and there was a lovely view of the imposing walls from the terrace.
