Our stay was too short to really meaningfully judge but Diana & Noel were gracious hosts. It was a short stopover to see the sunset at Oreti beach before going to Queenstown.

absolutely gorgeous, comfortable and well looked after! loved watching a movie in the lounge with fire crackling and hot chocolate and biscuits! delicious breakfast.

Diana and Noel are wonderful hosts. I felt very at-home staying with them. The house has been restored with love and they have interesting art to look at. The bed was so comfortable, in fact I purchased the same pillows and sheets that were on the bed as they were so lovely (1000 thread-count). Everything was very clean. The breakfast room is lovely and Noel makes a great flat white! Diana was very kind when I was not well one day and made me soup as I was not well enough to eat anything else. I definitely recommend Villa Rouge and intend to stay there again when next in Invercargill.
