This unique hotel is clean, comfortable and quaint with exceptional staff. Our family loved the rooftop lounge and pool.

Location poor as it is on a busy main road, away from the tourist area and the airport Swimming pool was green with algae, possibly due to poor filteration.

The property and staff were fabulous. We were treated like royalty the minute we entered the hotel.

I can’t think of anything we disliked. we had a wonderful visit to Nepal.

Hotel Shambala was one of the highlights of our visit to Kathmandu. The hotel was well situated with easy access to the city centre, and has good sized rooms, a wonderful rooftop restaurant, bar and pool, and top class international and local cuisine. Above all, Shambala made us feel immediately at home with its dedicated and friendly staff. Notably Rusha, Swastika and Prem at the front reception we’re especially professional, courteous and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Shambala to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Not enough outlets for any one with chargers. Only good access was in the bathroom, not at all good.

I truly recommend hotel Shambala, its so nice and clean, stuff is really helpful! Its having amazing bar on the top and infinity pool! Food is so delicious and rooms are comfortable! i would like to that bathrooms are renovated too but its fine
