Ideal stopover enroute north. Perfectly formed spacious flat. Comfy new beds and bedding. Kitchen well stocked. Peaceful road too.

Windows and sills were quite grubby with damp and mould. A wipe down would simply remove a lot of it Looked like not fully renovated when we stayed. Seems strange as rest of property was so clean and new. Parking on the cul de sac outside was a bit tight as not enough spaces for the amount of properties so we were perched on a corner of a curb.

This was a compact flat with everything that one could need. Decent decor, very clean and tidy, some nice little touches, good wi-fi, very comfortable bed (choice of double or single bunk type), openable windows all through, effective curtains/blinds and easy parking outside. It is near a main road, but not a busy one, and there was no traffic disruption. The bedrooms at the rear looked out over a small garden and there was no discernible pollution: it's a quiet, residential area. There was a table and sturdy chairs suitable for eating or working at. The over-bath shower was initially tricky in the sense that you had to juggle it a bit to get the desired temperature, but once mastered was fine. Good communication from the helpful owner. I would be delighted to stay again if in the area.

I think that the worktops and table would benefit from an occasional scrubbing with very hot water and detergent: they felt a bit sticky in places.

Really practical apartment, a nice size with good facilities. Parking spot was appreciated. Although on the main road it was set back and we couldn't hear any traffic noise. Host communicated quickly about our request for a late checkout. We would definitely stay again.

The bed was comfortable and for an apartment the rooms were all a decent size, the bathroom was great and very clean.

It needs a good deep clean. The bathroom was extra clean but the windows, sills, kitchen cupboards and floors and skirtings need a good clean. It was quite dusty.

Amenities

Kitchen supplies were a bit sparse as in baking and cooking tools and dishes.

Generally well equipped. On busy road but bedroom was quiet.

Would have been good to have a teapot and anti- slip mat in the shower

It was a cosy apartment, reasonably sized rooms, kitchen was well equipped with diningware and basic cookware useful for guests wanting to whip up a quick meal. The area is just off the main road, with free parking right next to the building. It's a quiet area with just the sounds of cars passing by on the main road. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

The hot water supply is a little unstable, and can turn cold and hot again while in use. Also was unsure about the heating of the place, we thought it was on a timer of sorts since there was a digital thermostat panel on the wall. But the heater units in all the areas of the house remain cold to the touch throughout our stay. Fortunately, we had some sunny days during our stay, so it didn't get too cold for us to inquire about it.

The location was ideal access to Gloucester and Cheltenham and also to Hartpury University where my daughter is studying. Id say only 5 - 10 mins drive, which was really handy for us. There is a nice pub in walking distance, the Queens Head, serving good food. The facilities we more than adequate, with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge. 2 nice bedrooms, 1 double and one with bunk beds (Hairdryer, plenty of space to hang clothes)........and a sofa bed in the living area. The heating was great! (We visited in January!) The shower was great! Plenty of spare bedding too. The hosts were very friendly and helpful! We extended our stay by 4 days and it was all easy to accommodate us. We stayed 11 days in all, and the apartment has a home to home feel. We would 100% stay there again. We loved it.

We really enjoyed out time here. For recommendations for booking.com or the host, I would suggest A couple more tea towels and bin bags The front door surround needs to be finished off from the inside, I think it must have recently been installed. I would suggest the following to be cleaned a little more throughly: the extractor fan, the front of the dishwasher and kitchen cupboards. The carpets could probably need a professional clean. The apartment was clean, just a few little things need addressing to make this a 5 star stay!

Free parking is advertised when in fact the property is a maisonette in what we can’t fathom is planned parking for all the properties. Many residents were double parked to fit in and area and garage space around the back was not marked (or described in booking info) so we were unsure where we could park without being blocked in/blocking someone else in or taking up someone else’s spot or garage access. Particularly in thepitch black as no lighting... The recycling bin was full on arrival presumably from previous occupant and no washing up liquid meant a dishwasher load when barely full which seemed odd especially when limited crockery! And one loo roll for 3 people for 2 nights seemed mean (we were fine just about but none of us have IBS or got a tummy bug!)
