The location is great. The staff at breakfast were friendly and the cleaning staff respected the sign that I put on my door. The mattress was comfortable.

The room stank horribly. I am not sure if it was the carpet, but I think that was it. It was really extreme. I've never experienced anything like this before. Despite winterly temperatures (I was staying beginning of April), I had to have my windows open whenever I was in, even at night. There is no minibar and no fridge - that's something I really missed.

Location was quite good. Facilities were sufficient. From the bedroom we were able to see a bit of the ocean which was nice.

There wasn't anything that we did not like.

Location

This is an awful, overpriced hotel. We paid €135 euro for a good location but an old fashioned room without breakfast. Our room was way too hot. There was no way to regulate the temperature, no airconditioner. The wetter was hot on the first day but next three days were cool but we could not chill the room. We had the window open all the time but it made no different. We had to move the matrasses to the other side of the room towards the window. We think the temperature problem is because of the swimming pool underneath. The service is bad, very unfriendly. We lost our key and the staff said we had to pay 100 euro’s because of that. Ridiculous, we didn’t loose it on purpose. Of course this hotel has an insurance for these things. But they choose to charge this risk to the client. The staff was very harsh. They say the key is very expensive and it is simply there rule, no discussion. Later they said they have to talk with their servicedesk about this. Meanwhile the receptionist accused us of giving a false adress. He did not understand one of us was in between two adresses because of a divorce and an upcoming move. We’ll never choose a Creuzenberghotel again. Very very bad.
