We loved our stay at this house in late October. Tons of windows for a great view of the lake and fall color. Perfect spot for a cup of coffee on a cold day. Nice open area inside for our littles to play in, everything you need in the kitchen to make a nice meal, and all around so clean. Would love to stay here again.

It is on a quiet street. We used the fireplace every night. The chairs on the patio and most of the furniture was very comfortable. The sun was out, and we enjoyed every day. It was a good choice.

Thank you to Rachel for being so accommodating for a last minute weekend getaway! The home was lovely, and was exactly how it was listed. The kitchen was very well stocked which I really appreciated. We loved the location of the cottage. It was central to everything. We loved the quiet neighborhood and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you so much!

The house is beautiful. The windows look out to the lake which can be seen from the kitchen, dining, and living room space in the open concept home. It was nice having a dock to park the boat. We enjoyed grilling and visiting on the patio. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. Definitely recommend!

Five total, my wife and myself and 3 'kids', age 16-24. Nice open floor plan with well-appointed kitchen connected. Great view of the lake. Easy access via dock for paddle boarding (we brought ours). One small snafu, and owner was very responsive. Thanks much!

This was a perfect vacation home for our family. The house was updated, very clean and had all of the amenities of the perfect lake house. The neighborhood was quiet which made it perfect for our family. The location right on the water makes for incredible morning views!!!

Everything thing was just what we needed only suggestion would be a blower for the outside patio.

We have been going to Chautauqua every year for about the past 15 years with friends…. This year was a new cottage…. We needed a single story cottage…..we found this cottage on Whitney Bay and it was everything we wanted…. Rachel was very accommodating to all of our requests and it was a great week !!!! We WILL return !!!! Thank you Rachel for a wonderful week !!!!

This cottage is a definite upgrade from other cottages that we have stayed in a Chautauqua Lake. The floors are all hard surface with beautiful granite countertops. There is a large, newer refrigerator and a beverage refrigerator in the kitchen, along with a separate pantry. There is a table that seats six, with three barstools at the island. The living room has a sofa and chair near the TV, and two comfortable rocker recliners and two other chairs on the other end of the room. The front door leads into the kitchen and the back door leads to the side yard. The bathroom is so much larger than other cottages, and there are three separate bedrooms. Overall, very very nice! You may want to bring your own bottled water, because there is a definite smell to the well water.

Great home and location. We enjoyed the lake with our boat. Having a dock right on the property was a plus!

Nicely updated and stocked home. View of the lake was beautiful!! Perfect location, close to many attractions and we were able to use our kayaks right off the property. It was exactly what we wanted.

This is a very comfortable cottage right on the lake with a dock. Great views from the living and dining area, the big plus is there is a washer and drier. It is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. This is a big plus as we cook the fish we catch.

This was my second stay at this property with a friend, and we loved it. Clean, quiet, comfortable and of course, a beautiful spot on the lake! We’re in our 50s so we were home each night by 8 pm and enjoyed a nice fire in the fireplace listening to music, catching up and reading. I’ll definitely be back again. :)

The size of the house from the outside surprises you when you see the openness inside. Lot of renovations, updates, etc. Great view of the lake, quiet neighborhood, and excellent communication. Would definitely consider again if we head back to the area in the future.

We were looking for something on the lake, but not too populated. This property was the perfect location. Sensational sunrise view!!

My boyfriend and I were in town for a relaxing weekend and to visit the wineries in the area. Rachel was very accommodating and the property and house were beautiful. Everything we needed was there for us during our stay. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again.

Beautifully remodeled cottage with ample space for six. Utilized the patio and boat dock the most. Rachel was very responsive and we’d love to rent it again next year! FYI the coffee maker will likely need to have a clean cycle or possibly replaced. It took an hour to brew a pot. We stocked on every appliance and tool we needed!

Great place!

This home is our favorite lake front property for our family vacations in Chautauqua. Fully equipped, extremely clean, modern appliances, comfortable, lovely home on the lake with wonderful views of the expansive lake. Home is located on a safe private road great for bicycling and evening walks. A great place to create memories and traditions with children and grandchildren!

Having been on Lake Chautauqua for many years my family totally enjoyed the comfort of the meticulous, clean and spacious cottage. The easy access of the dock provided many days of boating fishing and tubing. And everyday just sitting on the porch and viewing the lake was spectacular. Christine

Stayed here for the 2nd year in a row and it is fast becoming an annual summer visit. We fished, grilled and hung out at the house. Visited the super cool Panama Rocks, and also had a blast axe throwing. Hung out on the Lake Erie beaches and visited the towns around the lake. It just reminds me so much of my childhood summers on lakes in Michigan and I am really pleased to share this sort of experience with my kids.
