We loved the location. Close to the beach if that's what you like. We loved the walk into the centre of town which was about 30 mins. Our area where we stayed was local and quiet at night which was wonderful.

We liked being in a neighborhood just outside of the city that still had great restaurants and vibe, yet also quiet cobblestone streets and close to beach.

Close to Porto and beaches.

This apartment is located in my favorite area of Porto. Near to Douro and Atlantic, near to Matosinhos, where you can eat fish particulary well and the best bakery, many supermarkets and restaurants are in walking distance. The apartment is well equipped and (important!) the beds are very comfy! Here we had our most relaxed nights during our trip to Portugal. We didn't miss anything! The contact with our host Sonia and her friend Rita was personable, friendly and helpful. Tip: Rita has a little shop 1 minute away, called Mercearia Po de Arroz, where she sells food and things of everyday life without plastic packaging. Great idea and important for the future.

What a jewel of a place - Casa da Foz is a ideally located for spending a few days in Porto and, also, enjoying the quieter area of Foz, walking up the coast, The accommodation is exceptional - comfortable, extremely well-equipped kitchen and a lovely little terrace to sit out on. Bus & Vintage tram stops just a couple of minutes walk making visits into Porto really easy.
