The locks would work sometimes and sometimes not. The last step on the stairs is a hazard. Three of us almost fell. No alcohol involved. Common areas weren't picked up. We have been traveling to the area for 20 years and usually stay at the Crimson. Will not deviate from there again.

Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to stay in the area, we normally stay in the panhandle. This unit is located directly next to the Public Beach access. It was very Loud every night! Teens partying on the beach all night. 3 of the 5 nights someone was hauled off the beach in an ambulance. These units are so old you could hear everything! The door in the unit above sliding on its tracks, people screaming and yelling at 2am in the pool next door or in the parking lot directly outside the windows. This unit was dirty. The floors hadn't been mopped! The minute I removed my shoes my feet where dirty! The rug is so dirty its brown (supposed to be blue). The furniture in the living room was old. The beds are old and very uncomfortable. You cannot put the thermostat below 72 at any time according to Mngt. In the middle of the day the unit gets hot! The ceiling is peeling off from water damage. Wood rot near the sliding door from water damage. The patio chairs were old and uncomfortable. Chair rentals are pointless because the resort doesn't stop anyone from setting up their many tents and chairs in front of your rented seat. So you are in the back row of all people coming from the public access. There is no security to report noise or any issues. I felt like I was in the middle of spring break. The one positive - It was nice to be located across the street from John's Pass. If we do plan to stay in the Madeira Beach again, we will choose another condo complex. I would expect this from a unit that cost $150/night. Not one that cost $500.00/night!

I have slept on pullout couches I would sleep on again before staying here again. Jeff is sleeping a majority of the night in the recliner. I am up and down all night because it is impossible to get comfortable. Sleeping in on vacation? Nope. Not happening on this trip. I have contacted the office via email and expressed my concerns this morning to the office. We will see.

The floors of our place looked clean, but when walking on them (first day prior to any outing) our socks were completely black. Staff does not properly clean the floor. We had a water leak (due to the storm) and called and they said someone would be there today. Nobody came (and didn't the remaining stay). It would have been nice to have towels for the beach. Not very well stocked overall.

Our refrigerator went out and they had a repairman there within a few hours. You can walk to so many different places so we really didn’t have to drive for much. I would recommend Beach Place if you just want a place to relax and have a lot of places within walking distance.

The only issue would be this condo is not set up with enough appropriate kitchen gear to feed a family. There were only two very small frying pans, one that was warped and no big bowls to make salads or serve family style. I would recommend they update their kitchen gear! Other than that, the property was great!

From the time I booked they were so diligent in sending me information leading up to my stay and once we were there they continued to help us in any way we needed. The facility was beautiful. So clean and updated. Plenty of space for my whole family. The view of the ocean was perfect! The location was very convenient to anything we might need. We had a great family beach vacation!

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Beach Place for the last 8 years and have never had an issue, however, this year we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property when we checked in. It appeared the cleaning crew did a partial job on the condo we rented. Food under the dining table and food under the furniture is not a clean property. Everything else about our stay was amazing! We LOVE Beach Place and we LOVE Sun Host! We are hoping for an improvement on the cleaning in the future.

Great spot at Johns Pass. Unit and building are older than they appear in photos. A/C was adequate but not great.

This booking was a last minute decision and it turned out great! We loved the location with lots of restaurants nearby. The view was beautiful and the beach is also great. This was our first time to this area, we usually stay around Destin, but would definitely go here again.

Loved the spacious condo and newly renovated. We have rented at beach place many times over the years. Really liked it being on 2nd floor so we didn’t have to use the hot and slow elevator. They need a night time property manager for security. People were loud and fighting cursing outside at 1am and fireworks on beach at same time. Seemed like several young groups partying late. Jumping fence from beach to the property even during daytime. Many of units we have stayed in past had beach chairs and sand toys for our use while there. This one did not have any . Also no hair dryer. Iv never had to pack hair dryer so was surprised to not find one. When flying in these things are important due to not being able to bring them. Overall we would rent 212 again !!

I would rent again, however not when maintenance is going in. My only dissatisfaction was the bucket lift being parked in front and to the side of the balcony.

We had a great time! Was mostly my sister and I for the week. Had a few other guests for part of the week. Overall, we had a great time. Great location, perfect spot to see the dolphins everyday, perfect spot to see wildlife while on the beach combing for shells. We saw sting rays a few times (told later to shuffle your feet at the water edge), nice size crab one morning, tons of dolphins daily, all the birds (egrets, seagulls, crows). We loved the convenience of everything close and being able to walk to everything and not having to necessarily drive. We used Free Rides a few times (just tipped them). That was convenient and easy and they were nice as well. We would definitely come back! There was construction going on and our last few days were very loud. But that’s to be given since the are remodeling the condo above us. Overall, an awesome stay and loved it all!

Unit was very nice, could use more utensils in the kitchen and also would be nice if it had a cooler and beach chairs to use at the beach.

Location is great, floors were not clean. The wifi didn’t connect most of the time. Overall we loved the place. Strange to see them painting stairwells during spring break limiting access. Also construction noise from neighboring condo was uncomfortable.

Had a great stay. Loved the condo and the view! Only thing I would recommend is that kitchen needs a spatula for scraping out bowls and a potato peeler or grater. Lids for skillets too. Also to management. The restrooms by the elevator got pretty dirty at times. Also was a bummer having construction going on at the condo next door every day all day. Had to listen to constant grinding noise when enjoying the balcony. I know nothing you can do but if had known ahead about this would have tried to get condo on south end.

We loved this condo and the staff were very pleasant. The only bummer was water tuned off for about and hour one day w out notice but it was due to some work being done on the water main in the street. We would highly recommend the location to others. Easy walk to night life at St. John’s pass
