NOT FOR PUBLICATION PLEASE - I left a note for the owners about some safely concerns. The house had soft rugs on most of the floors as we, two seniors, viewed them as hazardous. I also mentioned the risky state of some of the lights and switches but I want them to know about these safety issues and give them a chance to consider and act upon my message to them. They were away so we didn’t meet them. OKAY FOR PUBLICATION A pleasant stay in a ‘30s vintage house in a lovely tree-lined street with beautiful birdsong and plenty of room. We were pleased to see how much life there is in Palmerston North since our last visit when The Square was deserted and rundown. Plenty to see and do but don’t expect much of the Rugby Museum because there is nothing much there.

Large old home, great location. Quite a cold home, though did have some heaters. Thanks for the stay.

Comfy beds and a warm home, perfect for what we needed

Bella had been very accomodating (forgive the pun). We visited in the middle of winter, but the soft beds, warm blankets and heaters made our stay very comfortable. The distance from town was exactly what we wanted; it made for a great early morning walk of less than 15 minutes to town. I won’t have to look for other options next time we visit Palmerston North!

We visited for my grandsons bday.was perfect place for us and we could take my sons dog with us… will definitely stay again

We were there for an event and had an absolute ball. Clean and tidy and lovely owners who live in the back with 2 cute dogs. Would definitely stay there again

Love the character of this era of property and the decor was to suit. House was warm and cosy and the hosts are so lovely.They we’re so so welcoming and we were able to have our dog stay to which is a bonus.

Central position on a nice street. Nice cosy house, the bedrooms didn’t have heating so it was slightly cold but they do have electric blankets. Functional kitchen and clean bathroom.

Great house, had everything we needed, nice and warm, comfy beds and friendly hosts.

Bella was very kind allowing us to arrive early due as we were attending my mothers funeral and had a very young baby. So needed to ensure he was feed.

Great 1930's-style house, with easy access and very comfortable beds! The owner's two dogs are regular visitors, and the friendliest pooches you'll ever meet. Bella and Dean were very engaging and happy to help if needed. Really easy place to stay - recommended!

Hosts were v friendly, obliging and helpful. Great location , close to town and hospital.

The house was nicely presented ,lovely and warm,plenty of parking,we found lack of wardrobe space a problem and the catch on the outside toilet needs to be fixed.Our hosts were very generous and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jean
