The breakfast that was included was only continental- being coeliac this meant I could only have toast and flapjack, we decide to upgrade breakfast for £12.50 each, I had salmon and eggs, husband had English breakfast

Beautiful place, spacious room was really well appointed clean and comfortable.

Perhaps that the booking said includes breakfast, didn't state it was continental included. It didn't hinder our stay but may for other's.

Quality established. They provided a little bottle of champers for my 50th and a cake! Great location as well!

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. All in all, we had a fabulous stay.

The service at breakfast was a tiny bit slow. I would have preferred a twelve o’clock check out time.

The Chester Grosvenor Hotel knows what first class customer service feel like and they deliver it. Staff are attentive, polite and bend over backwards to help. The location is perfect in the heart of the city. Parking is at the rear of the hotel and leads straight into the back entrance. The Brasserie food and experience was absolutely delightful. Great food. Ambience of hotel is quiet pleasure.

Minor issues. Bathroom sink very slow to drain. Peg on back on bathroom door wobbly. We would have liked slippers to go with the bathroom robes. All these things are very minor. Overall a wonderful time.

A wonderful building, wonderful team. we love everything about The Grosvenor. One of the few places, we can relax.

The service was excellent. The staff were professional but warm. Room was comfortable with extras like milk in the fridge for hot drinks. Nice Elemis products in the bathroom. The food at dinner was very good and breakfast equally so.

Staff were great and very accommodating. Arkle restaurant is out of this world.

Grubby and worn out hotel room, the type of room you don’t want to walk around in bare feet in (executive suite apparently). Stains on walls, leaking shower problem toilet flush. Waited for a full English at breakfast for 45 minutes which meant we were late to check out.
