I thought the price was a little steep at £80 a night.

Breakfast and service excellent. Great location for both town and sea front.

Bathroom could do with updating.

The breakfast was great,very good choice of cereals & the cooked breakfast was superb.Location was very good & central for all amenities.The staff were all very nice & the parakeet kept you amused.

There was nothing my wife & I did not like about the hotel.You would go a long way to find a better hotel anywhere in Britain.I can't find anything negative to say about the hotel.

Location was superb for what we wanted, close to town centre and the sea front. Staff were friendly, committed to helping you enjoy your stay and very hard working. They worked long hours and had several roles but seemed happy and always had a smile for you. Breakfast was really excellent, plenty of choice of cereals, croissants, fresh fruit, grapefruit (tinned), fruit juice, yoghurt etc and the full English came with quality ingredients and you could select what items you wanted. the (white)toast deserves a special mention as this was excellent, not usually the case in hotels. Close to the best hotel breakfast I have ever eaten. I loved the firm bed mattress but my wife found it a little too firm for her. Bedroom was well appointed, quite small but big enough, nicely decorated. Bathroom was nicely appointed. All very clean. Free parking was included. We ate evening meal at the hotel and it was very nicely cooked with good ingredients and reasonably priced.

I loved the firm bed mattress but my wife found it a just little too firm. Getting hot water around 6pm was a challenge. In the end I got fed up of running and wasting water in the attempt to get some to the tap and boiled a kettle so I could have a wash. central heating worked well, however (January!)

CLEAN comfortable and warm.Quiet room at the rear of the hotel. Well supplied with all one needs for an overnight stay.Excellent breakfast choices..the best I have seen for a long time. Friendly staff. Definitely worth another stay.

Parking was a bit limited.I can imagine there would be problems in the high season with so many hotels close together.

Poorly situated toilet, sounds petty but anyone staying or stayed in room 15 will know exactly what I mean!!

Comfy night's stay. Nicely decorated and furnished room. Not a perfect sleep due to noise from other rooms (people talking and bathroom extractor fans).

Smell in bedroom (electrical smell?) Cleaners talking loudly outside room (prolonged idle chit chat) well-before 11am Insipid, tasteless coffee for breakfast; no espresso Nescafe sticks in room Over-whipped scrambled eggs - no texture and resembling soggy couscous staff putting ketchup or HP sauces dollops directly on to people's plates as if they were babies - serve sauce in ramekins for people to do themselves!! toast not served at same time as hot breakfast - either toast cold by the time food arrives or having to wait for hot toast to come after breakfast arrives - breakfast goes cold waiting for toast! Get the details right to improve - a more energetic and engaging breakfast service team, rather than slow-paced team working of a rote script would improve the ambience.

Breakfast was very good quality and well cooked.
