Old hotel with lots of charm. It felt very family oriented which was nice. I think we may have been the only ones in the hotel as it’s out of season, which gave a little bit of a ‘The Shining’ feel - but in a good & fun way. we loved it!

The breakfast was excellent because of the fine, nutritious foods I usually eat including fine coffee but also the warm, inviting and very cozy dining room. I could have taken 2 hours to eat breakfast.

The only thing that could have gone better was to not have to wait as long to meet the manager so that we could drop off our luggage. It meant that we could have arrived earlier at the local park which we were visiting.

Our bed was kinda hard but the kid’s bunks were great.

Great morning breakfast and accommodating staff. Really convenient, right off the highway and a beautiful location.

Several surfaces were dirty but the bathroom was clean.

I can surely recommend for one-night stay at the journey from Oslo to Bergen, the room was fully equipped, breakfast was fine
