Villa Strand house is beautiful and superbly located. Very comfy beds.

I was disappointed we had to go to another hotel (although a short walk away) for breakfast and there were no alternative options for vegan/gluten-free etc. If they step into the 21st century for international travellers I will happily come back.

Never made it to breakfast - sadly slept Too late on New Year’s Day 😉

Villa Strand is a beach annex to the nearby Hornbaekhus hotel. Set in large grounds and with good weather it must must be a delightful location during the season. Meals are served in the main building. Breakfast was excellent and the communal dinner was of bourgeois good quality. The main house itself has well appointed public lounges with comfortable furniture and quality artwork. Staff were very friendly.

The annex Strand Villa is somewhat forlorn out of season. The rooms are tiny and the public space deserted. The main hotel is difficult to find. No hotel sign so look for the well stocked carpark at the side of the road.

The situation and the employees The performance one night with very good orchestra was a good surprise.

The room smaller than small. No gummy scraber for the floor. Douche water all over floor. The bathroom has no ventilator, and small window could not open. The door wakes up the other who sleep whistling

Closeness to beach and quality of bed

We had to check in ín a different location (Holbækhus), several hundred meters from the hotel - up an hill and with wrong directions given from the staff at Villa Strand. We also had to have breakfast there - which was not at all high quality with cheese slices tasting as dried rubber, but the bioled egg was good There were no towels in the room
