the view over the beach was beautiful and the room was so quiet. everyone was so friendly, and we loved being able to walk to a local restaurant really easily.

The accommodation is amazing. Such a beautiful house with lovely chill space downstairs and upstairs. Our room was fabulous. A great size, nice sofa, lovely bath and a great balcony with views out over the sea. The kitchen was well stocked with things for cooking however we never used it. There was a real fire lit outside which was a lovely touch. Everything was great. Only thing was it was a bit tricky to find it the first time and getting up to the accommodation could be tricky with bags etc. as there's steps up and no lift. But it's really a beautiful place. Wish we'd more than one night here. The beach is on your doorstep and the views are incredible. It's a wee bit out of the town so we'd to get a taxi in and out one night for dinner/drinks but this wasn't an issue.

We were a bit unlucky to coincide with a British family who seem to believe they owned the place and were not considerate with the needs of other guests. This of course was not a staff’s fault.

BEST TERRACE / VIEWS EVER very private with lovely staff who are there when needed Definitely spend the money on the “de luxe” suites so that you get the sea terrace and also an amazing bath overlooking the sea for some post surf refresh We loved our short stay

The Shaloha Guesthouse offers every imaginable comfort. Zandra is exceptionally helpful as a hostess and is committed to the well-being of the guests. The guesthouse impresses with a very tasteful and stylish interior. The immediate location at the beach invites to spontaneous walks. The rooms are spacious and offer a sensational view. The shared kitchen is fully equipped and extremely functional. We enjoyed our stay at Shaloha Guesthouse very much.

Perfect spot to stay in JBay 💗 loved everything

The Shaloha Guest House is such a wonderful place to stay and we loved the beach view. The rooms were clean and we had nice evenings at the fireplace. Zandra was a very polite host aswell!

Zandra made us feel so welcome with sparkling wine and fresh fruit on our arrival. Shaloha is outstanding, the quality of the rooms is exceptionally high. A fire was laid in the outside area every evening with marshmallows supplied for toasting. It was these personal touches that made our stay so wonderful. The cleanliness of the place was also of a superb stnadard thanks to Prudence. I would highly recommend Shaloha.

Friendly environment and thoughtful staff. Right on the beach with excellent views of Super Tubes.

Only issue was the king size bed was not extra length as I am 2 metres tall, not everyone would have this problem!

The view is amazing! A home away from home. The sound of the waves ...so relaxing! Its a place to visit over and over again
