Le Clos d’Argenson is a stunning property set in centre of Bergerac. The attention to detail is very visible with beautiful decor and a very comfortable bed. Francois and Ann Marie are so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety of bread, cheese, fruits, Home made yoghurt and jams etc. We will definitely be back and highly recommended staying in this beautiful B&B.

The hosts were lovely people, that could not do enough to ensure we were comfortable - whilst also respecting our space in and around the property. Amazing fresh food including home made jams and cakes. It is a truly stunning property and grounds nestled in the heart of Bergerac. I honestly couldn't rate our stay any more highly.

The accommodation was large, tastefully furnished with many personal art works, comfortable and restful. The host and his small team are friendly and extremely helpful. The gardens were pleasant and again restful. The location was central and just a short walk from all amenities. The breakfast was a fresh, appetising continental style with homemade additions. The room was large, airy with high ceilings and very quiet. It was tastefully decorated with a new modern bathroom.

Hosts are very service oriented

Jean luc was a great host, the property has been beautifully restored and furnished. Our breakfast was superb, fantastic location for exploring the city and convenient for parking our car.

It is an exceptionally pretty property right in the heart of Bergerac. A warm welcome from one of the charming owners who gave us precise directions to their garage behind the property (not easy without his guidance) and then showed us our lovely suite. We were impressed with the size of the sitting room and the bedroom had large walk in wardrobe and separate loo. The main showeroom was a good size, with two basins and a large walk in shower. Hairdryer and toiletries provided. We loved the decor and particularly all the interesting art work throughout the house. On the first floor is a sitting room, billiard table and a separate lovely breakfast room. It really is a most charming house. The breakfast was a real surprise. Everything you could wish for. Fruit salad, home made yoghurt, selection of meats and cheeses and each day a different special dish. Salmon one day and fresh, delicious pancakes another. A lovely basket of breads and pastries always on the table. The garden and pool were a real surprise. Very pretty and a lovely place to sit and have an early evening drink in the sunshine. Lots of great restaurants within a few minutes walk and the owners gave us good recommendations We absolutely loved it.

The sheets were stiff and rustled like newspaper which was disturbing. Unfortunately they couldn’t change them.

This is an incredible place to stay. The hotel is full of wonderful artwork and furnishings. Everything is top quality. Kind owners and easy parking right opposite. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptionally good and beautifully served by a super lady who took great pride in her work. The hotel is exceptional value and we wish we had booked there for longer!

Couldn't fault it and we stay in France a lot!

The breakfast was delicious and abundant with homemade yogart, cake and jams. The room was large with a sitting area that overlooked The garden and swimming pool. We enjoyed the amazing art collection in this beautiful old home.
