Magnifique hôtel au cœur des rivières avec une vue splendide sur le Mont Agung depuis la piscine! Petit déjeuner copiner vraiment excellent ! Restaurant abordable et vraiment délicieux ! Chambre super confortable et spacieuse ! Bien situé, l’hôtel propose plusieurs excursions vraiment sympa ! Et l’équipe d’une gentillesse extraordinaire, toujours le sourire, au petit soins avec vous, nous avions séjourné pendant la fête des mères et une belle surprise nous attendait ! Vraiment au top !

The staff was exceptionally friendly and lovely. Food and cocktails were amazing quality. Very calm and relaxing environment with stunning views from the room. Would recommend!

We were blown away by the setting , pool and very good restaurant ( almost Michelin rated !) . Our room was spacious, beautifully designed and huge bathroom It had amazing views across the rice terraces from it terrace space . Staff were super helpful and we went with local guide for a walk around the rice fields and countryside that was so good we asked him to extend it by an hour when we were on the walk !

The short 3 day stay during our 6 weeks travelling around Bali as we would like to stay in Sideman at least a couple of days longer

De fantastische ligging tussen de rijstvelden en de terrasvormige opzet. Het personeel is zo bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Wij hadden 2 verschillende soorten kamers geboekt. Als het flink regent zijn de kamers die beneden liggen vochtig omdat de deuren/kozijnen niet helemaal tot aan de grond lopen maar iets erboven hangen. De luxe kamer ligt meer boven en had hier minder last van. Deze kamer heeft een heel groot balkon/terras en we hadden hier een fantastisch uitzicht.

Alles was perfect!

Goede service, heel vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging. Fijn dat het hotel diensten aanbiedt zoals tours om de omgeving te ontdekken met een gids, massages, was service,… niets is te veel gevraagd. Het personeel spreekt ook zeer goed Engels. Het zwembad was ook zeer aangenaam en de ster van de show is echt wel de locatie en het mooie uitzicht.

We hadden een standaard kamer en schrokken wel dat de kamer open was boven het raam. Ook de badkamer is eigenlijk buiten (wat ook wel eens leuk is) en de deur ernaartoe kon ook niet 100% dicht. Aangezien er wel wat ongedierte bij de streek hoort kunnen die binnen langs die weg. Er was wel een muskieten net voorzien en we hebben niet veel ongedierte gezien dus het was geen probleem, alleen zijn we dit niet gewoon.

Er zit niet standaard airconditioning in je kamer! Dus goed naar kijken als je boekt. De stenen langs het zwembad werden wel enorm heet ! De onderkant van onze voeten hebben het geweten 🙈 Als je bang bent voor een gek beestje of insectje op de kamer, voorzie je je best met wat weerstand.

Het uitzicht de villa en het zwembad

De vele trappen om naar de villa te komen. Maar dat maakte het ook wel weer bijzonder

美しい棚田の中にあり、若いが礼儀正しい感じの良いスタッフ、インドネシア料理と欧風料理から選べる食事、プール、庭などどれも最高でした。またオプションの棚田を歩くハイキングツアーは、地元の方が案内してくれます。途中、道なき森の中を歩き、川を渡り、美しい棚田を歩き、最高の時間でした。

初日の夜は暑かったので、部屋にエアコンがないのは辛かったです。 二日目以降の夜は涼しかったので、エアコンなしでも快適に過ごせました。

This was by far the best accommodation we had in Bali. Sideman is a wonderful area and to our opinion, way better compared to Ubud. We had a room with own pool which was great to relax. But the thing that made our stay a 10 were the details for attention by the staff. They were all very friendly and made sure all our questions were answered with a smile. The rooms were cleaned very well on a daily basis and the whole resort including the rice field look very very nice. The food from the restaurant could be ordered from the room and was very tasty every time. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back any time.

Echt perfect! Wij besloten om tussen het backpacken door wat luxer uit te pakken en hier hebben we echt geen spijt van. Prachtig uitzicht op de rijstvelden. Fantastisch verblijf gehad hier met vriendelijk personeel.

Abian Ayu hit all the high marks. Location, view, facilities, service, how much room there was between the rooms, the outdoor space was beautifully cared for, all the staff were Uber friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Such a picturesque view from the property and our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Lots of lovely Warung’s within walking distance and they offered great massage at the villa. We had an early check out so the staff packed us a breakfast box which was very kind and delicious.

Only negative and a very small one, is that our room didn’t have aircon.

Not as tranquill as it could be. Due to set up of all rooms above the pool, and architeture of open rooms, hearing all sounds from pool and neigbors. And room types attracting larger family/groups.

We were in a room that was on top of the reception. Very clean, private and had a great view. Went for a self guided walk in the rice fields, were hoping to see some birds but saw very few. The highlight of the place is their infinity pool. Right next to the bar/restaurant. We found the food to be consistently excellent. Very quiet and tranquil. King bed was very comfortable.

There are many stairs to get to the room, the pool and the restaurant. Definitely not for the walking impaired!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten zwischen Reisfeldern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich&hilfsbereit. Frühstück sehr lecker. Würden aufjeden Fall wieder kommen!

Leider hatte das Zimmer keine Klimanlage. Daher war die Nacht alleine mit dem Ventilator fast unerträglich… Draußen war es definitiv kälter als im Zimmer, allerdings konnte man die Türen wegen der Frösche nicht geöffnet lassen…

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Abian Ayu Villa ! Le personnel est accueillant, serviable, de bon conseil. La chambre était magnifique, spacieuse, bien équipée (réfrigérateur, bouilloire, Moustiquaire au-dessus des lits, à la fois pratiques et esthétiques, mais aussi, café, thé, sucre, eau minérale….), avec une terrasse et une très belle vue. La salle de bain, magnifique également. La piscine est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique : beaucoup de choix (des petits déjeuners européens ou indonésiens), belle présentation, très bon et copieux ! La situation de l’hôtel : il est facile de se déplacer à pied à partir de l’hôtel que ce soit pour aller marcher (pont jeune, rizières…), aller visiter (fabrication de tissus, d’arak, de livres faits à la main…), faire des courses (petit supermarché avec prix affichés, un peu plus loin que le pont jaune), trouver de l’artisanat local, ou encore se faire masser (juste en face de l’hotel!). Nous avons prrécié le cadre naturel, verdoyant, le calme, allié au confort.

J’ai beau chercher, je ne trouve aucune critique à formuler. Je ne peux que faire des éloges !

Our room was very beautiful and clean. The bathroom was also big and clean. The breakfast was very generous and it included a warm plate, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and even bread and croissants - which is atypical for Bali, but a welcome surprise. The staff is very friendly.

The view, which was probably one of the best in Sidemen, is ruined by a new villa with private pool being built right opposite the hotel. This villa is also part of the Abian Ayu resort and it puzzles me why they would ruin their best asset - the view. The hotel is very popular and so it was fully booked. But since the garden and pool are relatively small, it felt a bit overcrowded and there wasn’t much privacy. We booked for two nights in two different room types since they did not have availability for the same type of room, and we also asked for a cot to be added in the room (which is a paid service). The hotel confirmed this request, but when we arrived, they told us that the room we booked for our second night was smaller and they did not allow cots in there, so they invited us to book a different hotel and told us they would not charge the second night. We were baffled! They confirmed our request and then denied it upon our arrival! Initially we were a bit upset, as we had been travelling quite a lot and we were really looking forward to 2 consecutive nights in the same hotel. The staff was apologetic and admitted to their mistake. In the end, they agreed to let us stay for the second night and told us they would provide the cot as well. An hour later they got a cancellation and told us we could get a bigger room for the second night, so all was solved. But the whole experience did not feel nice.

Jammer dat er midden in het hoog seizoen gewerkt word aan nieuwe verblijven. Je hoort veel heluid en er lopen telkens mensen die werken door het verblijf / zwembad ruimte heen.

Wonderful location. Mountains view, rice terraces, peaceful and quiet place. opening your eyes in the morning you can see all the shades of green from the window of your villa. Very friendly and welcoming staff, well-cleaned villa and clean linen. Cozy area where you can have breakfast almost in privacy. definitely recommend this place.

Service, everybody was kind and had the best attitude. The location is amazing; it has different dining options. The view from the Double Room with Mountain View is breathtaking.

It could improve on their maintenance and cleanliness; for example: the bathtub in one of Double Room with Mountain View leaked and it did not hold the water for a bath; the bathroom of the Family Bungalow with Bathtub is not done thoroughly (many spider webs in every corner).
