Er was te weinig personeel. Duurde lang voor het aangevuld was. Wat er nog te eten was, was goed.

The room was a good size and the bathroom was huge. The Reception staff were very friendly and efficient. Fortunately, although no dedicated disabled parking areas, I was able to find a spot close to the entrance to the hotel.

Despite a sign saying no smoking just outside the front door there always seemed to be a group of people smoking there. There were dozens of cigarette ends all over the floor and the smell of cigarettes was awful. The early morning cleaning staff were quite noisy when they came on duty, talking loudly. Although not really the fault of the hotel staff, a wedding party one night were using the entrance to the parking garage as a toilet which was very unpleasant. I found it unusual to have to pay extra for a disabled room.

Everything was good except for the fact that the room didn’t have a small refrigerator where one can store water especially during this summer period. Apart from that everything was good especially the hygiene of the rooms. Great staffs too.

Air conditioning did not work, we asked for assistance and we're told some one would come to check it but they never showed up. Also several electric outlets did not work.

Breakfast is empty food after 830am although they told me that it serves until 10am. Internet speed is terrible.

Free parking place in front, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good too. The room was clean with comfortable bed. It was pretty close to the city, we did rent scooters/steps. Easy to reserve Taxi's too

The reception was wxcwptionally rigid and ineffective in solving problems about currency: I had to make a part of my payment with US Dollars and they steictly refused. They did not give me the double room with a kitchen facility which in fact was in the ads and even the room pictures and in case I insisted the receptionist told me to chwck out in the morning leaving my everything in a deposit room to chwck in in the afternoon again after I came from work. Then, I had to give in and stay in tge room thwy gave me. I had to change my US dollars for Euros and they sent me to a bank about 5 km walking distance at 4pm to do this. And the bank told me they would not do it unless I had an account there. Then I had to take tram to tge HBF Essen and walk back under rain
