Rockville B&B is within sight and easy walk of Cashel Rock and only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Patrick is a friendly host with a quirky sense of humour, who made us feel very welcome. Our room and en-suite bathroom were spacious and nicely furnished. Even in the rain, Cashel was an easy drive from Dublin Airport, and we're pleased we started out self-drive tour of Ireland from there and not Dublin.

Perfect location just steps from the castle and downtown - the double/twin room has a great view of the castle! Patrick is delightful and funny and a wonderful host! The breakfast was delicious. The beds were so comfortable and they had extra blankets if needed.

Breakfast was an Irish Breakfast with cereal, juice, toast and fruit. The host was friendly and helpful. We were able to use an on-site kitchen and lounge area

Towels were rough, bed was a little lumpy.

Practical location, at walking distance from Rock Of Cashel. Very peaceful bedroom.

Landlord stayed up to let us in later than we'd originally said as the Ferry was late arriving. He was very attentive when we arrived even though it was so late. He was also very lovely in the morning with a great sense of humour. The Rock of Cashel is well worth the visit. It was great that we could get there at opening time before the crowds.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room

The house is quaint and very welcoming, with roses in the garden and a nice curved stone wall all around. My room was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. Patrick (the proprietor) clearly works hard to keep the place in fine shape. I was treated with such kindness that I felt completely comfortable as a solo traveler. Breakfast was wonderful. I highly recommend Rockville House to future visitors who want to experience the best of all that Cashel has to offer.
