Mooie kamer, hygiënisch en lekkere bedden. Restaurant is ook zeer aan te raden. Ontbijt was goed en vers. Erg fijn verblijf!

Fantastische plek, heerlijk eten, zowel diner als ontbijt. Hele vriendelijke bediening, ontzettende aanrader!
Wasmachine en wasdroger stonden boven onze kamer te draaien en centrifugeren 's avonds. Tip: pleepapier iets luxer.

Very peaceful and relatively isolated place amid beautiful countryside and at walking distance from the beach. Room big enough, but not spacious. You always have to book with breakfast, but this is really great and abundant and you are encouraged to convert into a packed lunch too. Good restaurant, but a bit pricey and closed on Mondays.
Staff is not always available. Slight smell from the bathroom.

Room was large and pleasant, lighting was good and we had a nice view over the Wad.
Everything was clean and pleasant. They have a small coffee corner where one can make coffee, tea and hot chocolate and buy drinks, sweets and salty snacks for a small price. Any time of the day.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Practical and not fake-service oriented.
This is NOT a place for loud people, big rowdy families or people with over-the-top requests on luxury. It is a simple, good place to stay with nice good food. There is not much to do except walk and look at birds and the sea.
The check in only starts at 15:30, that was the only things I would have enjoyed better earlier. But we could put pur bags inside and spend a few hours in the library room.

The room we had on the ground floor was very spacious for 2 people.
Breakfast was delicious, filling, and we loooove that in our basket of fresh breads, the staff included two doggie bags so we could take away any leftovers. This was perfect to not only avoid food waste, but also because it came in handy for lunch on the beach. The area is more isolated and it’s not easy to go shopping or to go to a restaurant in the middle of the day, so the staff’s clever and considerate thinking is a big win in my book.
We also really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the surrounding area is in the mornings and evenings. Even in the middle of the afternoon, it sometimes felt like we had the island to ourselves. Coming from a big city, this is of course is quite a treat!
We would definitely stay here again.

Staff very friendly, were able to arrange bikes. Due to corona, no big breakfast buffet, but basket delivered to table with bags to take remainder for lunch. Location is remote but great for birding in Kroon's Polder.
