Love this hotel. Quaint on a hillside in the German vineyards. Love the staff and breakfast in phenomenal. Great stay and value!

Wine tasting, vineyard walk, honesty bar (with nice wine), peaceful, balcony overlooking vines.

Sour milk at breakfast, limited eating options: hotel's restaurant was closed, golf course's restaurant was average.

the location was perfect

Breakfast was sober. A personal approach at the reception would be nice, however, the registration was standard and not personal.

Modern, light, clean, no carpets, comfortable rooms and beds, all located in a nice looking wine valley. They also have good wine. There is a "honesty" bar downstairs and a complementary espresso machine (Jura, just as it should be). The food (and wine) in the restaurant is good. The people are nice. There is an adjacent Golf course and club for those who like this. Breakfast is from 06.30 which is also how it should be.

The chef does not change the menu all that often. This, combined with what is already a limited choice in the first place makes eating every day in the restaurant a bit of a chore, even if the food is nice. There is NO reception after a certain hour so one should not forget ones' keycard. This happened to a colleague who had to wait a little while for a non-too pleased employee to open the door. I personally find the heating in the rooms a bit slow, I need to put it on maximum.

Standard Room were nice and bed was very comfortable. Large shower and the 10 euro bottle of red wine in the room was a nice treat. Breakfast was good with a variety of items. Really enjoyed the vinotek next to the hotel and sampled a lot of wine. Of course we bought a lot to go as well. They gave us a great tour of the facility as well. The hotel lobby has a nice system of selecting your own wine or beer or soda and filling out a form for what you drink. We had dinner at the golf course (Albatross) which was very good! Great place for a couple to go and relax for a day or two. Only think I missed s was playing golf. Next time for sure!

Not really anything I can find that I didn’t like about this place. It is a little remote but had everything we needed right there.
