Le déjeuner un peu déçue

Leuk hotel voor een bezoek aan de kust. Goed ontbijt, en leuke bar! Basic kamers, maar alles is aanwezig.

Kleinschalig hotel, niet steeds de vlotste bediening aan receptie en in de bar, door weinig personeel. Geen airco in de kamers wat een minpunt is voor de zomer maanden.

Het was een cadeau voor mijn vader voor zijn verjaardag. Het hotel stond open om een briefje op de kamer te leggen. Dat vond ik echt super!

Hotel Astoria is werkelijk schitterend: een prachtig kader, gastvrije ontvangst, comfortabele kamer en bedden.

Kan niets bedenken

Ontbijt is fantastisch, heel uitgebreid en ongelofelijk verzorgd. Personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie van Astoria Hotel is goed mooi in het centrum en op enkele meters van het park.

De donsdekens zijn goed, maar ik snap niet waarom deze zo dik moeten zijn. Siberische winters hebben we niet, er zou op zijn minst een zomer alternatief moeten zijn, zeker aangezien de kamers al warm zijn op zich. Jammer dat de bar om 22 uur al dicht is. Na het restaurant bezoek in de omgeving is het altijd fijn om nog wat na te praten in de bar van het hotel.

The location was excellent.

The room had all facilities but was very small. When I saw the plan of the hotel, I realized that we were allotted the very smallest room in the whole hotel (even though we had booked a long time in advance).

The hotel is very nicely renovated. The interior design is also very tasteful. We stayed in a deluxe room with our 3 children (1 child and 2 babies) and it was fine. The room had a beautiful view and a very spacious bathroom.

The access aaa complicated as we were with a double (side by side) stroller which has the same width as a wheelchair. As the building is protected and only recently renovated, the necessary adaptations are still ongoing.

Nice 100 years old hotel in Belle Époque style with fresh renovated facilities. Good breakfast which included even a champagne :) In the center of the city, not far away from the beach.

The floor in the room is covered by the new carpet with the old parket underneath which makes the noise during your every step...the breakfast area is divided into two zones - one with the buffet and another one with the tables with a narrow corridor in-between the zones... might be crowdy...

The hotel is in a beautiful position in the centre of De Haan with free parking very close by. The reception and downstairs area is beautiful with lots of comfortable seating. The breakfast was first class!

Although the bed was comfortable, the room was small and a little cramped, particularly given the cost and overall standard of the hotel.

The ambience in the hotel was perfect and the staff was very hospitable. Breakfast served was delicious. Thank you. Will definitely be back and also recommend to others. :)

Love this stylish hotel in one of the last stylish towns on the Belgian coast. As always my late arrival, late booking, early breakfast was not a problem. Hardworking and respectful grade A staff compared to many hotels in the area. Can't wait for next trip.

This a great small Belle Époque hotel in a great small seaside town spared from the 70's real estate promotors/destructors. The staff is wonderful. As a light comment: there is a real twin staff and one keeps seing double :) Both are so nice and pro.

central, clean, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and service

Easy advance check in, very friendly and helpful staff, arranged our restaurant booking saving us time and stress. Lovely decor, especially the giant flower arrangements. Spacious room with a comfy bed. Outstanding buffet breakfast, spoilt for choice and again friendly staff. Complementary welcome drink. Free parking. Close to the beach, restaurants and coast tram.

Minor details: would prefer parquet floor instead of carpet in room. Bathroom like new but no screen or shower curtain so hard not to spray water on the floor.

A quality historic hotel with lovely rooms and public areas . Delightful staff and a wonderful breakfast is served . Easy street free parking and an easy walk to the seafront. Tram stop nearby which we used . Roger and Sara Mitchell
